For those of you who don't know, Earth Hour is an organised event where people are encouraged to turn off lights for an hour, with the target of raising people's consciousness about the link between global warming and energy use. http://www.earthhour.org/home/ Also, the tv advertisement features Fix You! Daylight Shadows Posted March 28, 2009 Share Posted March 28, 2009 The Earth Hour is a great idea against the climate change, but the worst problem is that nowadays there are still lots of people who don't believe in such things, though it affects us all, and ignorance only helps to make the situation worse... And those who think that Al Gore's documental is just about pessimistic ideas on the Earth's condition, they just know a very little part of all the truth. That's not very complicated. al gore's documentary has over 10 wrong facts in it. complete fear mongering. it is still not decided whether man has influenced climate change...especially since the temperature seems to be going down in the last 10 years. No music, no telly, we just sat and talked for an hour and really listened to each other - not getting distracted by anything else... it was bliss.
