ok, i'm gonna be the one who bursts the bubble, but i really don't like amsterdam.

almost every top ten coldplay video i see on youtube has clocks as its number one! it's my number 3, b/c 1 is violet hill & 2 is cemeteries of london. i think violet hill has all the components of the perfect song: kick ass guitar riff, awesome 'fuck you' to the gov't meaning, and a soothing ending.

i think everyone likes 42, strawberry swing, a message, and, yeah, don't panic is awesome. oh yeah and white shadows

No, just go to the "Is there a Coldplay song you can't stand?" thread; there's plenty of (crazy) people who can't stand Fix You.

i know that lots of my friends like Clocks- even those who dont even know Coldplay is the artist. Its universally known/liked.

I love speed of sound, don't panic and in my place.

I'm not really a huge fan of Don't Panic, but I don't dislike it, so you can let that one slide.

 

Before someone mentions it, I'm spouting off Warning Sign as my one and only Coldplay song that's cherished by many, but I'm no fan of. I've tried to love it over the years, but I can't get beyond the "willing to listen" stage. Give me Amsterdam over it any day.

 

For everything else cherished, chances are I'm a fan. :)
