February 22, 200521 yr so they covered their own song? hmm how does that work... frankly you are a fucking moron. love will tear us apart was created by a band of the name joy division. the cure covered, what i mean by covered is that they performed it, and what my opening post suggested, it sucked. do you understand now? don't bite my head off because i don't listen to 80s music
February 22, 200521 yr Erics post was a bit dumb (Well, uninformed) but interpols PMS launch response shows off his dickheadedness in all its glory.
February 22, 200521 yr I didn't understand what u meant at first either, Interpool. Lets be nice. Other than that....I really liked the Cure...especially their older stuff. :)

February 22, 200521 yr New Order covered it, but it was more of paying homage to it. Everyone INDIE wanted Joy Division to win Best song of the last 25 years at Brits 25, but they didnt. So at the NME New Order basically sang the song exactly as Joy Division played it, they didnt try to put a spin on it so they didnt really do a COVER "VERSION" of it they just played it. And it was ok. new order is joy division, their just without ian curtis
February 23, 200521 yr new order is joy division, their just without ian curtis so they're New Order then, not Joy Division :sneaky: :P

April 2, 200620 yr Hey does anyone have an audio rip of the Cure live in Orange from 86? or Glastonbury 86 - could you PM me??
April 2, 200620 yr Yeah, I would have to say that mmmm maybe like, four years ago, I was introduced to this band and have like em ever since. I would have to say that 'Boys Don't Cry" , 'Bloodflower' and 'Disintigration' are among my favorite albums, because they have some of my favorite songs on em... just everything bout The Cure is good stuff. Vocals: one of a kind. Robert Smith's voice is very versitile, what makes it so great is that it can go high and low and he makes those great sounds affects 'Friday I'm in Love' :nice: no one does it betteR When it comes to 80's best Please feel free to discuss favorite songs, albums, events...let me know your whys and hows ;)
