May 31, 200917 yr All of Coldplays album art do a great deal in representing the sound of the album. My fav is AROBTTH Theres sumthin about it that i love
May 31, 200917 yr I like all of the X&Y singles as well as the album... because of the colors and because I really love puzzles and they're all in code. Hey, since you're new and you like album covers, you should try my game and see how well you know your singles ;) It's really hard. Out of all of them, if I had to choose just one, I'd pick the Lovers in Japan cover as my all-time favorite, artistically. All the Viva singles are so painterly and fun, but I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of the VLV cover itself. *hides*
May 31, 200917 yr Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends album artwork. I just love everything having to do with that album. :P
June 16, 200917 yr My favorite is either the Life in Technicolor ii single's art or Violet Hill's. Probably LiT ii's.
June 16, 200917 yr I like them all, but this is my order: X&Y VLVODAAHF / PM EP (they are the "same", so they get 1 place) P LRLRL AROBTTH
June 16, 200917 yr game[/url] and see how well you know your singles ;) It's really hard. I beat it!... but I don't know how to decode the message at the end. ._. Anyway, I have to go with LRLRL. It's simplicity is what makes it so brilliant and beautiful, in my opinion. Right behind it are AROBTTH and Prospekt's March, though.
June 22, 200917 yr A Rush of Blood has the best artwork.....2nd would be Viva La Vida but i feel like it wasn't as creative since they just used Delacroix's painting you know? Also all of the singles frm a Rush of Blood looked SO cool, they were suppose to each a member of the band.... I always thought Clocks looked like Chris I think In My Place was Jonny God Put a Smile Upon your face always looked like Guy and his curls like when he had his hair longer at that time WIll the Scientist? so yeah i think its the coolest
June 23, 200917 yr AROBTTH is by far my favorite. It's just so abstract and unique and beautiful, and then it has all those other foreign releases and singles with similar but completely awesomely different covers.
June 23, 200917 yr Also all of the singles frm a Rush of Blood looked SO cool, they were suppose to each a member of the band.... Really??? Woooo I dind't know that! (I knwe that Chris was for clocks (?) or AROBTH, I don't remember but not for the others...so cool  ) My favorite is by far AROBTH. Totally unique and different from what you see generally! It's kinda simple and abstract, just as the album is! So perfect to me! Then I'll say Parachutes (simple again but represents well the mood of the band). And then Viva (no, I'm not biased at all by the painting XD). For that one, I have to say at first I was kinda shock they dare 'paint over' Delacroix's painting... XD! .As a french, it subconcially means a lot...It's a representation of our entire culture, history and motto (liberty, egality, fraternity). Marianne (the woman figure) is on every city hall and coins! So it felt weird at first that they dare 'scribble' on that....Feels like vandalism! But when I heard Violet Hill, it all become clear  I love the LIT artwoork! Just gorgeous (I even bought the tee on the official shop XD)
June 23, 200917 yr Viva La Vida. even though they didn't paint it, something about that picture with the "viva la vida" splattered across just really brings out the album sound well.
June 24, 200917 yr I really like the album art of the singles to VLV (even more than the LP itself). Parachutes is my favorite I think though admittedly A Rush of Blood to the Head is probably the most arresting visually. X&Y seems the most abstract... blegh, they're all amazing in their own way. So hard to choose, haha.

June 24, 200917 yr A Rush of Blood was amazing, but being a nerd I loved X&Y. VLV was good because I studied Delacroix at school.
June 25, 200916 yr Really??? Woooo I dind't know that! (I knwe that Chris was for clocks (?) or AROBTH, I don't remember but not for the others...so cool  ) My favorite is by far AROBTH. Totally unique and different from what you see generally! It's kinda simple and abstract, just as the album is! So perfect to me! I agree with AROBTTH. And yeah, I was also shocked when I first found out about each single being a band member. They're just pictures of them using light refracting (or something) photography. Pretty cool. I was always confused as to why they all had faces except for Clocks, which I thought was a bunch of circles. Then it was finally pointed out that it was Chris and it all made sense. Super cool. My favorite single artwork is probably The Scientist.

July 18, 200916 yr Although it's not one of the options: STRAWBERRY SWING. Need I say more? Something about that spunky, oddly-familiar superhero flying in the night sky that makes me swoon. :D
