I'd really LOVE to go, they are so amazing!!!!

 

But I could only go to one of the London concerts, because the other ones are next week and I'm going on a trip next week, but it's so expensive to go there now (I live in Strasbourg and London is quite far from here)...! With Ryanair I just checked and it costs something like 200-250€...!! That's such a shame! :(

 

Don't we have a lot of Coldplayers in London, Cardiff or Glasgow, who then wouldn't have to travel to go to one of these concerts??

When does Round 2 start? Do we get an entry in Round 2 now that Chavi has won the U2 tickets? Bit of a pain if we can't get an entry in for the Coldplay Wemberley tickets.

i would SO love to finally see a U2 concert in the flesh!!! & cover it too!!! ..............but i'm even further away from London than Chavi or Noémie are right now. :disappointed:

Well, I sent Chavi a PM earlier saying I'd go. I didn't get in touch with her earlier as I'm not a huge U2 fan, and figured there'd be lots of posters who be wanting to go that derserve them more than me. I do like the band though, and I love Coldplaying, so if it keeps us in the contest and no one else can take them, I will.

Waiting for Dave to come online ASAP, otherwise the tickets will be going to Alison. One way or another the tickets will belong to someone tonight!! :)

It's such a shame that the U2 shows are so near the Coldplay ones or I would have been at the front of the queue.

Voting

The four competitions will take place between the following dates: 3rd to 9th August; 10th to 16th August; 17th to 23rd August; and 24th to 30th August.

 

The live stories we’ve chosen for each competition will be discussed on-air, and the public will be invited to vote for their favourite.

 

Winners in each competition will be chosen by the public by way of an online vote at absoluteradio.co.uk/music/live/stories. Each competition vote will be open for five days, between 8.00am (GMT) on the Monday and 11.59pm (GMT) on the Friday.

 

Only one vote per person per competition is permitted.

 

The winner of each match will be announced on-air at 2.00pm (GMT) on the Saturday.

I keep checking the Absolute site for the next round of voting and nothing is there... and yet there appears to be a page where you're supposed to write your story about Coldplay at Wembley - even though it hasn't happened yet :confused:
