[not official yet] Coldplay in Latin America on February of 2010

Featured Replies

It's been confirmed by sources in EMI Colombia that Coldplay will indeed be touring Latin America on February of 2010 as part of the Viva La Vida Tour.

Coldplay had scheduled a concert in Bogota (Colombia) for November 19, 2009 but they've decided to take some vacations after the Wembley craze and begin touring Latin America on February of next year.

So Coldplay should hopefully be delighting fans in Chile with 3 concerts, Peru with 2 or 3 concerts, Argentina with 3 or 4 concerts, Brazil with 7 concerts, Venezuela with 4 concerts, Colombia with 4 concerts and last but not least Mexico with 4 concerts.

Some of the main cities where they should be playing are Guadalajara, Santiago, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Bogota.

More news to come :)

That's great news ... unless they are really true!!

It's great for both parties:

CP that they will get some months off after Wembley and to spend pre-christmas-time with their families and for the fans in Latin-/South-America as well, as the dates are not quickly rushed/squeezed in before X-Mas!

Woohoo!! :D

That's great for you guys! :)

wait

source?

the emi sources in mexico said lots of things aswell, so I won't really trust in any source but coldplay.com :P

3 gigs in Chile are way too much, unless they'd use that crappy 5000 people venue they used in 2007. Probably they could do 1 or 2 dates.

All this info doesn't really fit :S Also, 4 dates in Colombia??? most of the bands don't go there so probably they'd do just one or two dates there too...

ohhh and same with venezuela and peru, both are small countries so probably they wouldn't sell out more than 2 dates in each country, unless they'd use really small venues

I'd hate another third world tour without a proper tour stage and all the cool things they have in their USA/Europe/etc gigs, I mean they were awesome but we deserve the same as everyone

4 concerts in mexico? i dont think so! it would be GREAT but im pretty sure they will have only 2 concerts... but wait you said february 2010? i heard they will come to latin america in november 2009!

^I think they're playing in Colombia in November 2009, but then they're also adding a few more Latin America tours in February. :nice:

:S

why do we write in english ? :O

Its not the Latin America Tour ? :laugh3:

Me parece rara esta info, como dijo lore ... me parecen muchos conciertos y en lugares q ni han ido :P

Dont know,we must keep waiting :(

Maybe it's not official yet, but I think we can be sure they'll do a Latin American Tour.

Where exactly, when and how many concerts...we have to wait for that.

But I can't imagine them not going to Latin America, they have already played there and they know they have lots of fans there! :)

I say that 4 concerts in México is possible and perfect, one in Monterrey, one in Guadalajara, and 2 in México city...

And as I said on the other thread, I do not care when they come as long as they come in the VLV tour...

Wow! I hope this would be true! :nice:

The news comes from Coldplayzone. The source is reliable!

Me too ! :nice:

That'd be awesome... but.... really... so many shows ? :\

As Lore said, 3 gigs in Chile is huge... Let's see

._.

The news comes from Coldplayzone. The source is reliable!

the only 100% reliable source is coldplay.com :)

I meant the source who said to me about these concerts is reliable...so reliable that i've made a news, even if i won't be there...

but the question is... who's the source?

7 concerts in brazil, 3 in Chile, and 4 Colombia and venezuela??

that could only work with another small venues tour, so it doesn't look realistic

dont forget mexico:P they say there will be 4 concersts here too but i dont really think so cos they have been here and they have never been in monterrey, guadalajara, etc.. but it would be still great..just lets wait

paciencia..paciencia..!

I think that they would have THREE concerts in Mexico.

Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey...

but if they were 4,,,, it would be because they would play 2 times in Mexico City, 1 in Guadalajara and 1 in Monterrey

Woooo!!!! That'd be amazing ;O;!!!

But... as some others have said... I won't believe a thing 'till I see it official on Coldplay.com

I say that 4 concerts in México is possible and perfect, one in Monterrey, one in Guadalajara, and 2 in México city...

I hadn't seen your post

but as I said, I thin you're right!

4 concerts in Mexico is possible in the way you said!

:D!!!

1 would be enough for me, but 4 is perfect :D!

4 in mexico is not that much, mexico is huuuuge

I was just saying that 4 concerts here in chile, venezuela or colombia would be way too much, one or 2 concerts would be normal 3... too much
