I think this is my first serious attempt at drawing him. I've never drawn a real person with light hair before, that was kind of a challenge. But I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hope you guys like it. :)

Thanks! His hair was very difficult... since it's light AND curly, there is a lot to show. It was fun, though I wish I could've made it a liiiittle more golden.

That's a fantastic drawing - although I think the nose is just a smidge too long, otherwise the exaggerated features are amazing, and really capture Chris's appearance. Amazing work - you are so incredibly talented! :nice:

But you know... I only believe in talent sometimes. I'm hesitant to say I'm talented (of course I don't mind hearing it from others! Little ego boosts, y'know :P ), because all I've done is spent countless hours and late nights in my room, for the past 10 years, working on this stuff. And you better get somewhere if you work on anything for that long, haha.

 

Why I'm saying this is because I hear a lot of people who say they wish that they could draw, like it's some gift from the gods they'll never have. No. If you have the drive to do it, you will go as far as you want to go. Don't think you need a ton of expensive art supplies, either -- I used supplies on this one that every ten year-old uses.

Talent is just a plus in interests and in work. The more you are interested to do something the more you work for it the further you get.
