As much as I like Weezer and Rivers (even though they haven't put out a good record in years), Viva La Vida totally isn't their style. Still, not a bad cover. :D

How can one not love Rivers' dorky outfit and dancing? :wacky:

Considering this is not really Weazer's style, I give them an A+ for effort. Rivers sang it nice enough, he didn't know the lyrics but he didn't mess with them :nice: No actual bell, but they did a pretty good job imitating it, plus unlike Coldplay, they actually had a live violin and double bass :rolleyes: I love the fact that the audience started the woooaahh-ing all by themselves, no need for Rivers to even encourage them :D

well it seems to me, that Rivers did some pre woah movements, i mean he seemed nervous about that part, as "will the audience response as they are suppoused to do" ? :anxious:

That was a pretty great effort. Though I think we can all agree that only Chris' vocals are best-suited to perform it :). haha...no one can emulate the power of Will Champion. I mean, they needed two people to do the percussion :P

I have to say that this was one of the best covers I have seen of Viva la Vida! I mean, not one of the best, but one of the best! :P

My favorite VLV cover is still the Pet Shop Boys one, even though it's not the full song.

No offense to Rivers, but the arrangement reminded me of this!
