Usually, despite being female myself, I've never been a fan of female artists. But somehow, despite a large amount of denial I have begun to love Taylor swift. I especially love her very country songs (Picture to burn, our song etc.). I just wondered, fellow Coldplay fans, what you think of her!

I like her, too. Good pop tunes. She is tone deaf when she sings live, though.

don't be ashamed (why can't you like vastly different types of music... unless the Jonas Brothers ;) ) I loved her first album (before she was popular) Buy it! I like every song on the album. One song i don't like love story is overrated and makes her look really crappy as an artist.

Yeh, I have it. I agree her first album is really good. After she became more popular they clearly tampered with the country feel of her songs in an attempt to make her more mainstream.... Fearless is a good album but you can hear how manufactured it is. I'd love to hear a version of Fearless that was just her pure songwriting talent not the edited version!

What do you all think of her? She's ridiculously popular, even some of my gothy-music friends are huge fans. I doubt many people here actually like her very much, but I'm interested to see what the reactions to her are on this forum.

 

I don't think she's the worst pop music could have right now, her songs aren't really my thing but they aren't nearly as shit as what you normally hear on the radio. Anyone else want to share?

b) she a lot better then some of the other music that popular, at least way more talented and she just seems like she is a good person.
