February 6, 201016 yr The basis I work on is that. Like you said if they went back in time to detonate the bomb that would in turn mean they never went to the island than they never went to the island and in turn could never detonate the bomb, so basically a new alternate universe is created. That universe is the one in which the bomb was detonated, this is why they are sent back to their original time period and universe after the bomb has exploded, they succeed but they don't see the effects, their other selves do. There is more of a link than that though, they've already hinted at it. Time Travelers wife is bollocks.
February 10, 201016 yr Wooo! It's good to see Claire back! Kate annoyed me a lot through out the episode, but Claire made the episode better. I wonder what the others meant for what happened to Claire. Either way she still looked crazy and I still don't trust the temple people. :nice:
February 10, 201016 yr ^ OMG julie - love the desmond above. i hope he gets back soon. SPOLIER... I really thought Sayid was gonna be like a Jesus resurrected thing....apparently i was way wrong! He should have taken that pill i think soooo good... LOVED the cameo tonight (mac from it's always sunny) made me laugh!

I noticed Mac too, that was awesome. :awesome:
February 10, 201016 yr So I'm watching it now. That CGI thing of it going into the sea to that statue thing was so shit. Really unhappy about that :(
February 10, 201016 yr Clearly you guys, like Kate, don't remember Mac's first appearance...haha not a fan of Claire being the new Rousseau
February 10, 201016 yr 3rd episode was a bit dissapointing....Claire is back though. That was the best part of the ep. and appearance of Ethan was so creepy. I felt so bad for Sawyer. I liked him the way he was in season 4 and onwards, but it seems like he's becoming the way he was season 1-2. every man for himself. Josh Holloway is doing a great job with acting. oh and Sayid is infected. like Claire. what's up with that?
February 10, 201016 yr So I'm watching it now. That CGI thing of it going into the sea to that statue thing was so shit. Really unhappy about that :( yeah I thought that was one of the cheesiest looking things i've seen.... they should've simplified it Clearly you guys, like Kate, don't remember Mac's first appearance...haha not a fan of Claire being the new Rousseau I'm not really so much of a fan of Kate anymore. I really liked her character in seasons 1-2 and possibly 3, but then she kinda got annoying. I agree in that I don't really like that claire is the new rousseau. 3rd episode was a bit dissapointing....Claire is back though. Ethan's character has been an interesting one, though he always looks creepy. Stupid question, but I guess then the infection that Sayid has or Claire had is supposed to be the same kind of infection that Rousseau's party got. --- What I find interesting about the episode is that in the alternate timeline/universe it seems as though Kate/Claire have somewhat faint memories of life on the island. I mean when Aaron's name was brought up it seemed as though Kate was getting a little emotional. Also I dunno if you guys noticed but early in the episode when Kate was in the taxi she looked outside the window to see Jack (i think it was jack) and it looked as though she recognized him. Also I found it interesting how Claire just said Aaron as the name of her baby out of the blue.
February 10, 201016 yr Claire being the new Rousseau was like wtf, i'm glad her character's back to clear things up. I still miss Charlie though.

Yeah, I noticed that Kate looked so weird at Jack It seems like some of the losties are having memory glimpses first jack about desmond then kate about jack and when claire said aaron she got really emotional and claire about aarons name i think in the future we will see more of this and an explanation of course sorry my computer fucked up somehow after first sentence i cannot put any punctuation marks or caps dammit
February 10, 201016 yr oh and cgi on lost completely suuuuuucks they fail everytime the worst was the 316's landing
February 10, 201016 yr I'm happy Claire's finally back but I agree that I dislike her being the new rousseau And I loved seeing Mac from its always sunny :awesome: What I find interesting about the episode is that in the alternate timeline/universe it seems as though Kate/Claire have somewhat faint memories of life on the island. February 11, 201016 yr haha you totally sounded like the lady who speed talks in all the "Lost in 8:15" things, don't know if it was intetional but it made me laugh Ha ha I know what you mean :D "Mr. Friendly throws like a girl" :D
February 15, 201016 yr Hello everyone! I just found this Lost thread! very cool. I read an article in Entertainment Weekly that said it's a possibility that the 2 timelines could become aware of one another :whaaat:
February 15, 201016 yr Esau/MIB/Whatever: Portrayed by Titus Welliver Terry O'Quinn (in the guise of John Locke) Adetokumboh McCormack (in the guise of Yemi) Tania Raymonde (in the guise of Alex) CGI (as the Monster) last one made me lol
February 17, 201016 yr I wonder if I'll be able to wrest the parents away from the Olympics long enough to watch it...
February 17, 201016 yr well that was an interesting episode of Lost. I liked this one quite a bit more than the last episode. I find it interesting to see why there seems to be a reason for some characters to be on the island, in order to take over Jacob's job. The only thing that doesn't make sense is why is Jacob choosing this selection of Lost characters? If he has been on the island for hundreds of years, why is it this group that he is choosing? I liked the alternate reality, in that we get to see that Locke is soon to be married to Helen, and also that Ben, Rose, and Hurley play a part in Locke's life. I think that someway Locke will contact Jack and he'll be able to walk again (even though Helen tore up the contact/business card). I'm interested to see how overall this alternate universe will play out and like some others have said I think that eventually the two universes will somehow combine. The only thing I didn't like about the episode was that I felt the end of the episode was somewhat anti-climatic. I mean I felt as though it didn't have one of those Lost moments where you think "what the hell is going on?" or "what is going to happen?" I still feel that Jacob seems to be the right person, though "locke" still makes some good points as to why should they just believe all that Jacob says. What I love about this show is how it twists your perception of who is right/wrong or good/bad. It will be really interesting to see how this all plays out in the end. Overall this was a good episode. The alternate reality I find is interesting overall to see how the characters would be if the plane didn't crash, though at this point I don't find it quite as interesting as life on the island... I guess i'll just have to see how the season progresses. Now from this episode it seems that the season is getting a little bit more momentum.
February 17, 201016 yr The alternate reality is so shit, I can't wait for something to actually happen in it, at the moment it's just "OMG BEN IS A TEACHER IN THE SAME SCHOOL AS LOCKE *wanks*" It's boring and detracts from the actually interesting stuff on-island
