You kind of shouldn't, everyone listens to Radiohead...

I know but there's this point in the thing were a Radiohead song would be perfect :(

If I get a coldplay fangirl I'll put Radiohead in it :P

What if for the very first song I put a Coldplay song just to mess with the person I'd get?

*raises hand* I would like to participate.... but I have a question before I completely commit...

I noticed some users have 'x's next to their name which leads to their last.fm profiles... is this done in an effort to make the mixtape according to their tastes? Or is the purpose of the exchange to give others a taste of new music YOU like that they may like?? In other words, are the mixes to be tailored to the match or can we just make the tapes in an effort to share new music?

lol, now you've tempted me to make viva la vida or fix you the first song.

May I know how could I delete the info of the song? Just rename the files, is it?

Okay :uhoh:

I tried to rename a file but when I play it I saw my Last fm reveals its actual name :freak:

I'm going to give this a shot sign me up!

Question: Can we also include a small note along with the tracklisting for the person we are sending to?

Mine sounds all weird when it's together :bigcry:

You have to right click on each track->go to 'properties' and delete every info in the 'resume' signet (both on 'simple' and avdance') ;)

i'm sending mine to The Escapist!

question : how to delete the info for a certain song?

im still thinking about it. h.a.h.a.h.a.

edit : ooops, didnt see that rudy_o has asked that question.

however, i dont use last.fm . so on my itunes, do i just delete the info off the track? and by deleting the info, do i need to delete who the artist is or the track name? or just the genre only?

NO. Right click and select Properties, then delete artist/album/song names, I think that's how it's done for non-iTunes stuff.

I would like to participate too, I like to dicover new music and artists :D But before I give you a definitive yes I have some questions:

1. What audio format is allowed: .mp3 only? Because I have some songs on .mp3 format and others on .wma format!

That's a question I don't have to ask anymore, thanks for the explanation ;)

You have to delete all the info: track, artist, genre, etc., am I right?

what I'm going to do for the mix that might make things easier for you all is I'm going to make a playlist, and then duplicate all the songs (right click-create mp3 version)... and then from there delete all the info from it... that way I don't have to re-enter in all the information again.

I can't decide if I should bother making mine flow realllly well or just throw in a dozen songs I really like at random. Ehh.

i'm pretty sure it's to show people what artists they do not want on their mix, or want to stray away from
