Anyone who has sent me a tape, it has been received. 35 tapes have come in now.

I chose to put only one song per singer and/or band so there will be more singers and/or bands in my mix ;)

Exactly. Although to be honest, I'm not sure if my recipient will discover al that much. I did my best based on what little I knew of her (and by little, I mean minimal).

Even if you discover just a few artists that you like and havent heard of before I think its a win for msuic. I usually have a rule to put bands on my mixtape that people wouldn't heard of because they are australian or for some other reason, or to put good bands on with tracks that are obvious singles. I work a lot with the flow of the tape. Thats the most important part for me. If they like the music that comes with it, then thats even better.

I agree with you. I did the exact thing. What I did is to select a really good track from the artist which I think might create a good impression and will sustain interest in knowing the artist even more (granting that he/she has not heard of it yet).

Also, to my mixtape maker... I'm going to be away from my computer for a week starting Sunday. I'll do the best I can to try and get my review posted Saturday before I leave.
