Is it a problem that my files are mpeg4 before I convert them to RAR and create an archive? And should the files be RAR or mp3 when I upload them? :thinking::thinking:

You don't "convert" them to .rar. You put your .mp3/.mp4/whatever inside a folder and make it a winrar archive...

you get the Mp3's (preferably) into a folder, then convert the folder to rar

okay, so i have to buy a new computer and then i can transfer everything to that one. I could have my mixtape done by next week if i get a computer this sunday, would that be ok?

right click and select "properties" for each file and rename the songs Track 1, 2, 3, etc, and delete other info, and yeah, upload the .rar archive

for anyone still having trouble removing track info, try Media Monkey. Worked really well for me, though, I did also put in generic song titles and artist information. Media Monkey is a free download, too. :)

on iTunes, right click and go to Get Info and rename
