EDIT: I suck at giving reasons for why a piece of music is "good". I guess I just like the guitar and how it goes from soft to loud throughout the song. Chris' voice sounds great too.

I Ran Away is definitely a good one... as is Sleeping Sun, Careful Where You Stand, Ladder to the Sun, A Spell A Rebel Yell...

I guess you're right, though. Technically, the song was originally from an EP. It's still the same song, even with different instrumentals and whatnot.

"Crests of Waves" and "I Ran Away" are up there, but my #1 is not one of your poll choices - "Things I Don't Understand". That track is seriously better than half the songs on X&Y (and so is Gravity, for that matter).

I have to agree with this 100%

 

Things I Don't Understand is among my favorite b-sides and is by far my favorite to come out of the X&Y sessions. While I find other b-sides are very good Things I Don't Understand is the only one that I listen to and just can't see why it was left off the album.

i don't think I Ran Away is that good...
