It never looks good for longer than about 10 minutes on my fingernails...

So for years already I only have my toenails polished in the summer, feet look less ugly that way :lol:

 

I don't like the smell on my fingers either and because I have to wash my hands often at work I just let it be.

 

A friend told me that the secret to prevent it from splitting is to put nail polish remover on a q-tip and move it along the end of the nail... still can't be bothered. :P

 

So, do you put it on your nails a lot?

What's your favourite colour?

For me it's the classic dark red.

I used to polish my nails every Sunday, and it would last almost the entire week. Usually some shade of dark or muted pink, sometimes red. But a few months ago I stopped, I realized how yellow my nails were getting by being "stained" and not being able to "breathe". The yellow has grown out and they look nice and healthy now. :nice:

 

But I'll still polish them for special occasions.

i don't use nail polish. feels weird having something on my fingernails when im eating with my hands and so on. plus , school rules don't allow me to do so. :P

I don't like to wear nail polish. And I suck at painting my nails, it always looks messy. :P

I've only worn nail polish twice. One time was for my senior prom, and the other was because I was at some sleepover, and they thought it would be fun.

 

But yeah. I don't plan on it again anytime soon.

Yup. I usually use a beige colour for my toenails, sometimes I use a bright red though, looks better in peep-toes.

I usually have a french manicure on my finger nails, everyone always asks me how much I paid for it, but I just buy the cheapest nail polish and do it all myself ... I've gotten quite good at it and it's kinda relaxing while watching TV or something. :anxious:

 

 

Now I'm waiting for Kelsie to come and call me a girly girl. :shame:

 

Never, because I can't and my nails are too short. If I let them grow they look weird and I refuse to take fake nails.

I'm usually too lazy to put it on, but I often use crazy colours :cheesy:

My clothes are usually so colorless and I like to brighten it up a bit with crazy nails :freak:

I usually can't be bothered enough to polish my nails but once in a while, when I'm bored enough, I do it. Currently I wear a nail whitener, but my favourite colour is turquoise. :D

I paint them once in a while, whenever I'm bored.

At the moment they're a peachy orange colour.

Me too. :\ I only use it for special occasions, and then I have it done, because I suck at doing it myself :disappointed: I kind of want to try French tips, though. Just to see what they're like :p

I love painting my nails, I have tons of those thin long brushes to paint designs and stuff. :wacky: I personally like brighter colors, like pinks, greens, blues, etc. I only paint my toenails in the summer, right now they're pink. :wacky:

Eww no, I think it's disgusting, and way too girly for me.

I wear it for nights out, but am sooooo bad at putting it on. Seriously terrible. I just can't do it. And I always leave it to the last minute too so it looks worse :dozey:

nail polish rawks yo :bomb: well a little anyway cause I suck at putting it on my nails, left hand's fine but the right one becomes a mess yo. I use it but only every now and then cause it ruins my nails if I wear it too often.

I dont like Viva La Diva yo :bomb: I wore it before and when I removed the nail polish it had made my nails all yellow and nasty :thinking: kindof like if I had been smoking for all my life or something. Me no likey. My nails are still yellow and this was months ago :angry: grow faster

I used to wear nail polish on my fingers loads, and occasionally on my toenails. haven't worn any for ages though. I've got 29 bottles in my drawer, although some are very old (in fact now you mention it, I might check for dried up ones again :lol:)

 

I've got pinks, reds, blues, turquoise, lilacs, purple, orange, clear and some metallicy dual colour ones.

 

I like the names on them though - Peacock, taffeta, viva (a lovely coldplay red :D ), dragon's blood, hot paprika
