YouTube Video: ACAPELLA BEATBOX COVER OF VIVA LA VIDA!

Hello Fans of Coldplay all over the world,

My name is Paul J. Kim and I'm a musician from Los Angeles. I recently finished a music video for a completely vocal/beatbox cover of "Viva la Vida". I hope you enjoy and feel free to re-post and spread the word!

There's something about good songs that don't get old, unless of course the radio plays it so much that you don't have time to miss it. What do you think?

In the meantime, enjoy this acapella beatbox cover I made :)

It's bound to happen with radio friendly singles.

i think Viva is overplayed, clocks and viva are about the only coldplay songs that are played on the radio and i got quite sick of them actually:( it's like that with almost every band wich is a shame because that way most people wouldn't know any other songs besided them and don't get to experience the best of evry band:(

Yes. I blame society.

We should hand our heads in shame.

^this

that's why i don't listen to radio music programmes any more.

they tend to kill good songs cause they play them too much

as, well is not coldplay, but when the fray's how to save a life it got so played here that i got sick of it and hated it for a while, even when is a good song.

back about coldplay currently i don't have the impression they are overplayed here, may they are and i don't notice.

it was a big thing with them cause Barça's coacher used Viva La Vida, so all of a sudden all tv channels advert to download the melody on mobile, but that's it, nothing huge since then.

I love Coldplay but this is kinda funny:rolleyes:

(I guess some people are sick of VLV:dozey:)

(actually, it's pretty dumb:shame:)

Unfortunately yes it is. I haven't been able to listen to the album version for awhile now. I can only listen to live versions, but even now I can't really listen to live versions :(

I only listen to Viva la Vida maybe once in a blue moon. Mainly because it's considered mainstream now, and I don't listen to mainstream radio, period.

It's over played, definitely.

There's a radio station here who plays God put a smile upon your face a good bit....like they actually still play it.

Good remix. I liked it.

Viva La Vida is played way too much. Even though that was the song that got me into Coldplay, I began to get tired of it by January 2009. It's a good song, but the general music-listeners will only hear VLV, yet ignore their greater songs.

+1

VLV is overplayed.

Is a shit song.

Overrated.

Awful lyrics.

Too freaking pretty for my liking.

Oh my I can't stop showing my hate towards Viva :( Anyway. Yeah, almost all the people I know listen to that particular song when Coldplay is mentioned. The only known song to non-listeners.

As for Clocks or Speed of sound, I dunno, I love those.

It's definitely overplayed. I hate when you mention Coldplay to someone and the first thing they say is "oohh that song Viva la Vida". In my opinion, VLV isn't the Coldplay I love. :shame:

My friends always run to me when they say they have something Coldplay related, like a song in their phone, myspace or anything like that.

It's always Viva La Vida.

With that, I don't get excited.

I can't even listen to Viva la Vida anymore, it's so overplayed. And I don't even listen to the radio at all. I was never a huge fan of Clocks or Speed of Sound either though.

Its the only song by them they play and now they hardly play it

2008 though.......

OOOOAAAAAAAAAA OOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA OOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

oooh... :(

But I have to admit that I laughed. I liked the bells and the piano disaster

I think VLV is overplayed, in the radio mostly, and that is annoying. however, I still listen it like the first day I knew about it.

i lol'd when "Chris" was like ...."this is our drummer will he's the shittest drummer in the world"...... and Will looks over at him with love and admiration.

the rest of it was stupid

Viva is on the radio almost all the time nowadays and it's really odd because they didn't play it as much back then when it was actually released... It' propably because of all these TV shows like X Factor where people cover it and all the adds that use it.. Really you can hear it everywhere! :surprised:

It wasn't overplayed for me in 2008 because I was still a fangirl then, I was more like "THEY DON'T PLAY IT ENOUGH INSTEAD OF THIS R&B SHIT". I hardly listen to it now and I hardly hear it so I'm all good

I LOVE Viva La Vida, i don't think i could ever get sick of it :wacky:
