June 7, 201016 yr Wow, five years! *feels old despite being relatively young* :stunned: That went fast. Still love the album to bits.
June 7, 201016 yr :dozey:how! 5 years!...:wtf: I remember it took me a while to accept this album...:uneasy: because ... well .. at that time believed that nothing could surpass Parachutes :shy: and was discovering "A Rush..." as a great album too :) X & Y was very different ... however .. a few months I became totally addicted to it ... I learned to listening, and i established a deep contact with each of his songs :wacky:  I listen coldplay since 2000 (ten years! :shocked3:... but was at that moment that I became the fan I am today :dozey: in honor of it .. I get this tattoo last year! I could never regret of that! :pleased:
June 7, 201016 yr 'X&Y' started everything off for me in a bigger way with Coldplay. Therefore I guess it's still my 'fave' album and I could listen to 'Speed Of Sound' for the rest of my life on repeat and wouldn't feel bored at all ;) ah, Speed of Sound. :wacky:
June 7, 201016 yr X&Y is single-handedly responsible for sucking me into Coldplay and having me never want to turn back. It's not their best album, but doggone it if it wasn't a life-changing experience. Never looked at music the same way since.
June 8, 201016 yr I love this album so much. I hope they go back to X&Y. I know that's not gonna happen. Fuck, I hope they at least go parachutesy.
June 9, 201016 yr That's crazy. I remember being so excited for it, and going to buy it the exact day it came out. Now, I never hardly listen to it, it's not one of my favorites at all. :P
June 9, 201016 yr X&Y  as said, I could listen to Speed of Sound on repeat forever and wouldn't get sick of it :)
June 9, 201016 yr X&Y  as said, I could listen to Speed of Sound on repeat forever and wouldn't get sick of it :) "all that noise and all that sound.. all those places I got foundddd..." "let's talk! lets taaaaaaaalkkk" "cause i feel low! ohh...." I remember this song spoke to me the most at the time.. "& the hardest part was letting go not taking parrrrrt you really broke my heaaaaaaarttttt ohhh...." "ohh come on love stay with meeeeeee" "when you love someone but it goes to waste could it be woooooorsssssssseeeeee? lights will guideeeeeee home & igniteeeeeeeeeee your bones & I will tryyyyyy to fix you" :bigcry: me too!
June 13, 201016 yr Love this album too!!One of my favorites.Ive been listening to it a lot lately too!!
June 13, 201016 yr It´s not my favourite album... I think they got distracted when they decided to do it. Fortunately, they sorted it out with their next job. Nevertheless, it´s another step in their career.
June 13, 201016 yr *sigh* how time flies. I remember getting X&Y more than any other Coldplay album since I was home on break from Uni for the Summer. I had pre-ordered it in Hawaii, and got it posted to the UK. I don't think I'll ever forgot the lazy Summer days reading while listening to it!! The Summer weather was fantastic that year.
June 13, 201016 yr I remember getting X&Y the day it was released and being excited by the fact that there was less than a month until I was seeing them live! I love that album, especially Talk, White Shadows, Low and Square One. It doesn't seem like it was five years ago I was eagerly waiting for that album and now we've had Viva and I'm eagerly waiting again!! :laugh3:
