Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow family photos returned by station manager

Featured Replies

A station manager turned sleuth to return family photos of Coldplay singer Chris Martin and his film star wife Gwyneth Paltrow which had been left on a train by Chris's dad.

Honest Matt Fearn found the snaps, worth a fortune to a magazine, in a jacket handed in at Plymouth station.

Matt guessed they were private photos and realised the jacket must have been left on the train by a member of Chris's family travelling to Exeter.

He knew Martin was from the city and traced his father Anthony to his nearby home rather than following procedure and sending the jacket to a lost property store.

The retired businessman said: "I'd like to thank him very much for tracing me."

I've just posted this in the CT!

I'll say it here again:

Good to hear there are still honest and nice people in this world. :nice:

That's great! It does seem like a normal thing to do but in this world I think a lot of people would have gone to The Sun

So Guy is not the only one in the Coldplay circle to have the tendency to loose important things on trains

AGREED!!

Good to hear there are still honest and nice people in this world. :nice:

My words exactly :awesome:

Ha yeah shame it wasn't LP5 left on the train.

That is impressive. In this Perez Hilton world, Im sure many would have at least been tempted to copy the pics and share with friends....and so on, and so on....... I think it's lovely that he did the right thing and returned them to Anthony. Top bloke.

That is so nice. :nice: I'm so happy, there's still some uncorrupted people in the world. The media would of had a field day with those pictures; nosey bastards.

Coldplay and their friends and family should stop being so careless to leave stuff in trains :P

This :D

I'm just glad that they are getting to spend normal family time together, with pictures they want taken by each other & not the papps.

I agree with all the above comments!

1+!

Imagine if you found Guy's private photos on the train... :awesome:

Once i read this i thought about Guy :laugh3: And now it's been proved! There is still hope for mankind! :D

Wait I'm confused...had Guy lost something on a train before too?

yeah

he lost a cd that said "coldplay second album" on it.

oh Guy

......I am so glad no one got to see the photos of Chris. :blank:

^Thanks for the answer. :)

Wow, so did the songs get leaked afterwards then? Poor Guy...he must have gotten some yells for that one. :P

they didnt! somehow

and he didnt tell anyone.... just held his breath until the released the album

Uff they are very lucky , Coldplay (album) , and Chris and family (pics)

Thet guy is honest!

Remember folks, the station manager isn't the only honest one here... someone else actually turned in the jacket. Without that first person turning it in, who knows what would have happened...

And I was wondering, how exactly did this story get out? Did the station manager report it to the news? And apparently Chris' dad took the time to make an official comment; so maybe he was the one who reported the story? Although I wouldn't see someone in the Martin family "volunteering" a personal story like that.

Perez Hilton world? Ummm Perez Hilton is possibly facing child pornography charges after tweeting pics of Miley Cyrus that are a bit questionable. :P

Media world, sure.
