American dubbing would be hilarious. :P

They definitely have an accent, it's just not that obvious. And tbh, as a non-native speaker, I have more troubles with Merican accents but then again, I rarely watch American TV.

And YAY, new fan aboard. :sneaky:

lol I see that you look from the opposite spectrum... but yes! just watched Episode 2... I loved the Asian theme

But if American English dubbing was applied, I definitely think it would take away some of the intellectual air of it...

yes! new fan!

^I finished The Blind Banker also. I just wish I would have watched season one before two. DAMN MASTERPIECE MYSTERY.

oh lol, I just googled some website with all the episodes on it... you could probably find it. I can't really helpl you, since I might infringe some copyrights... :stunned:

On a sidenote: Someone, somewhere in the world, has probably already pointed this out, but Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) sounds a LOT like Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape from HP movies)... :shocked2:

if anyone still hasn't seen any episode, you can watch them here

also if you're a Sherlock fan you have to be on tumblr, there's an absolutely massive fandom full of lovely people there

and also I'm too lazy to check previous pages but Mark Gatiss will be writing the first episode of series three and it will be based on The Empty House so yay \o/

tbh as much as I loved Hounds (because it WAS an incredibly original take on the story), I feel that Gatiss's best work so far with Sherlock was The Great Game. The plot was terribly complex, and most of it was his own brainchild. He didn't have any Doyle story to base it off of (he used elements from a few, but not one whole story like he did with Hounds)

All three of them (Gatiss, Moffat, and Thompson) have an incredible eye for detail, and yeah I love how they have enough canon references for it to be amazing for people who have read the books, but not so much that those who haven't read are lost.

I agree... It was incredibly complex. But yeah, all of the three of them have extraordinary minds!
