I called her too, and they didn´t receive my payment yet.

So I called her again and we agreed that I´ll send her a screenshot of my payment order and they will wait for the payment.

All this stress around the gig is killing me!

I bought 2 auction seated tickets for Liverpool, but i received a call today from Daniel at See Tickets asking if I would prefer standing instead as they were having a problem allocating seats. I said yes as I always like to get reasonably close to the stage.

 

I was thinking afterwards though, this might mean that they have upsized the venue to make more money for Crisis, which is why the seating/standing numbers have changed? He said tickets will be sent out in about a week anyway, I had been a bit worried as i'd had no other form of communication up until now...

Wow, I would prefer a standing ticket as well, but no phone call :-( They were probably preferrably calling people in the UK.

I mean, it's a small venue anyway so everyone will have an awesome view, but if I'm reading the description correctly, between the general and VIP auction tickets, about 1/4 of the front will already be allocated. But I could be completely wrong.

I hear what you're saying and I might of made a boo boo definitely, but I was just thinking back to when I was at the Exeter gig last year and the seats/VIP section was at the very back of the room! The truth is nobody knows, but I just think that by having a standing ticket it gives you a little room for maneuver... I hope I haven't paid silly money for a crap standing position though Arrrgggghhh!

It's hard to tell because we have no idea which venues the gigs will be at, so we don't even know the layout. I guess it will be one big surprise in so many ways. :tongue:

Still working on it, but yes I think so. Actually one of the other people I'm supposed to go with is doing most of the work, so I've gotta give credit to him. But I think it will be sorted out very soon.

I wrote it on the gig's social group, but if it's going to be Mountford Hall the layout says floor 700 seated and balcony 250 standing (which makes 950 people), so if that is the venue, the standing area is not that in front of the stage :wink:

But then it doesn´t make sense why would they want to turn the seated tickets into standing ones, if there are so many seated places, or not? :shrug:

I don't know, but the plan for that venue is the only one that would explain why Liverpool had also standing tickets and Newcastle didn't. Doesn't seem to me that the other possible Liverpool venues could explain such a weird tickets allocation :anxious:

Well, we don´t know how many standing tickets were sold, only that they were sold out first.

And that the seated ones in auction were 230.

So there are no venues in Liverpool where it would be possible to have front standing and sitting all around? (Some theatre or whatever) :shrug: :-(

If someone knows the Liverpool venues and say there is such a venue then I'll be happy to be wrong as I have standing as well, just wanted to point out the fact that standing might not always mean front row :)

just thought it might be st georges hall but the limit there is 800-probably be the grafton though there are always at least 1000 empty seats available at goodison

i really hope standing tickets will let us enter a sort of pit, if it won't, it will be a crazy thing..i've always bought standing tickets and i've always been near the stage. Really hope so..
