 amazing pics thank you!

If it had been possible for me I would have loved to be there, I understand his point, and of those who might have felt let down, but judging by the pics, it looks like they had a great time together.

- it is not clear if they talked with Phil or Miller

- they just saw the band from a distance

- they will appear in the Christmas light video

- they had a coldplay karaoke or something like that

- some of them are trying to meet coldplay at the video set (just read that on fb)

- for some people it was amazing and for some other people it wasn't that awesome.

definitely!

Yep, that's right. I think I would have been awesome to be there, it seems like an unique experience.

Exactly!!come on!!WE'RE IN A COLDPLAY VIDEO

SO, how is it the new song??? did you like it??

wat

I'm not hearing great feedback on the song here :uhoh:

that's not a good sign :blank:

I like it very much! But it's definitely very different than the version from 60 minutes.

wat

that. Won't say names in case they don't want their status made public of course :P

C'mon you can't be serious. They could've got any drama school in or around London to provide extras for free if they wanted to save cash.

SURE! But that would have been a little too...obvious. ;)

Okay, you guys. What is this? I can't even believe some of you people are acting like this. I just feel really disappointed. I know all of you wanted to be here - but there's no need to get angry or us or the band for not being able to tell you every little detail.

The record company decided that and we all signed contracts as not to reveal any details. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't want to be charged with anything.

I had a wonderful night with some of the best friends in the world and that alone means the world to me. Being a part of a Coldplay video was icing on the cake, of course.

I do get that a lot of people who were there may be a bit disappointed - but come on... We're in a video. I think that's cool. I would of course have loved to meet the band but seeing them from afar and getting their feedback on our performance was pretty good as well.

I don't know... I'm just really tired and I just got really upset that some of you are reacted the way you did.

Anyway, thank you to all of you who were there! See some of you tomorrow.

(Oh, and thank you, Kat, you're a sweetheart!)

EDIT: Oh, and about the song. Natascha and I were crying when we heard it. I really like it a lot. It's sad, Christmas-y and wonderful. I can't wait to hear it again.

If I'm being honest here I'm definitely irritated at the people who thought it wasn't much. I'd say that being in a Coldplay video is a pretty big deal, plus the time spent with fellow coldplayers. And I think it's kind of ungrateful to be negative about it. Just my thoughts.

I totally agree with Anna!

Everyone who went to this is soo lucky! You guys got to be in a Coldplay video! That would have been more than enough for me. :D Plus, you guys got to hang out with Coldplayers, sing karaoke, got a nice boat ride, saw Coldplay(even if it was from afar) and heard Christmas Lights first. If I could have gone, it would have been worth the money and trip for me even if it meant standing in the cold for a long time.

All your details and stories are really interesting! Thank you for sharing!

However, despite being part of the video I think they really could have been more creative. From a marketing perspective it was really tenuous. Of course there's no need to "sell" Coldplay but for both sides it would have been better to create sth more... memorable I guess. For example, a quiz night, instead of sandwiches you'd have turkey, goodies for everybody to take home, etc. And I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks that Chris announcing himself from a walkie talkie was really lame? Come on, all Coldplay members live in London and could have easily spared two hours of their time.

Anyway, I wasn't there... uni is really demanding at the moment. So maybe I shouldn't be saying anything at all. I just really annoys me that sth that could have been amazing turned out to be pretty mediocre. And Coldplay is far from being 2nd class!

But I'd better shut up now.

Edit: Please don't hate me! :D

Totally agree with AnnaElisabeth

I REALLY like the new song.It starts slowly, just piano then picks up with guitars and stuff then ends with just Chris on the piano. Hearing it for the first time with a 100 Coldplay fans looking at London from the Thames was amazing.

Plus, filming was fun. Joking around

you have to understand most of us were a nervewreck at the time  there was a lot of speculation going on and no info at all...:shame: :laugh3:

I'm glad to hear you had a great time! and surely being on the video must be something you won't forget :nice:

I think everyone who went on the boat should appreciate it like Anna obviously did.

Seriously.

SURE! But that would have been a little too...obvious. ;)

Doubt it with students over here at the moment.

Just tell them they're going on a knees up down the Thames and they wouldn't ask any questions, seriously.

Me, Chelsea and Anna and a host of others are at the set of the Christmas lights video, we've seen them film most of it with fireworks and I just spoke to Chris as he walked by. He said 'Hey, what's up? How you doing?' - and now I can die. Thank the lord, because it's freezing!

if you never try you'll never know, we are the luckiest fans in the world for even this to be an option that we could have all participated in, count your blessing coldplayers

Even though I wish I could have been there, I do think that yall had a pretty unique and awesome opportunity! So I am happy for those of you who were able to go and for the rest of us, at least we had a pitty party together! Now let's get to countin' down to see this video, maybe we'll find out if someone flubbed up the lyrics :D Cheers to those who got to have fun tonight! And a most Happy Thanksgiving to us Americans!
