Me, Chelsea and Anna and a host of others are at the set of the Christmas lights video, we've seen them film most of it with fireworks and I just spoke to Chris as he walked by. He said 'Hey, what's up? How you doing?' - and now I can die. Thank the lord, because it's freezing!

Okay, you guys. What is this? I can't even believe some of you people are acting like this. I just feel really disappointed. I know all of you wanted to be here - but there's no need to get angry or us or the band for not being able to tell you every little detail.

 

If I'm being honest here I'm definitely irritated at the people who thought it wasn't much.

Then we could, because the record company decided it and because the news about the new single was released through Coldplay.com anyway yesterday. We just can't reveal details about where it is being filmed, for obvious reasons.

 

So, the "Matt/Miller/Phil Q&A" was just a cover-up story to get 100 Coldplay fans on a boat (although Debs told us it was originally supposed to happen as well, but they were needed at the set; Phil is going to be in the video as well by the way). I'm really happy and grateful I got to be a part of it and I understand the people that are sad they couldn't. I would be too. But at least some of their biggest fans are in a Coldplay video and almost everyone can recognize someone they know and love while watching the video.

what happened here about that time was that we thought you wouldn't be able to tell anything, that was what got most people upset, I think, but if you read it now, it doesn't make much sense, I guess :thinking:

The record company decided that and we all signed contracts as not to reveal any details. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't want to be charged with anything.

 

I had a wonderful night with some of the best friends in the world and that alone means the world to me. Being a part of a Coldplay video was icing on the cake, of course.

 

I do get that a lot of people who were there may be a bit disappointed - but come on... We're in a video. I think that's cool. I would of course have loved to meet the band but seeing them from afar and getting their feedback on our performance was pretty good as well.

 

I don't know... I'm just really tired and I just got really upset that some of you are reacted the way you did.

EDIT: Oh, and about the song. Natascha and I were crying when we heard it. I really like it a lot. It's sad, Christmas-y and wonderful. I can't wait to hear it again.

 

I couldn't agree more. I cried too and the rest of the evening was just pure magnificence. Of course I understand that you guys are upset that you couldn't be with us tonight, but you will find out what has been going on soon enough, right? It's not like we didn't want to tell you (well, in a way I wanted it to be a surprise for you guys but that's just me), we weren't allowed. And that is all about respect to the management and the rules. Really.
