And I'm getting a vibe that says 'Ya USED ME COLDPLAY! YA USED MEEEE!' Goodness sake guys you had a free night and got to be in a Coldplay video. Sorry some of you had high expectations that the band was going to meet and greet you. I say blame Ian for raising your hopes....only joking of course! If it was me as long as I was fed and catered for and had some jolly banter with fellow Coldplay fans then that's a good night in anyones book...unless you hate Coldplay.
November 26, 201015 yr Okay, now that I'm done spending 5 hours at my aunt's house eating turkey and being polite, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL I MISSED?!? :freak: I tried reading about 10 pages but all I got was a lot of :srs: :| I kinda skimmed through the last ten pages. Someone correct me if I'm wrong . . . The Coldplayers on the boat are going to be in the Christmas Lights video. They heard the original song and were filmed singing it. There was no Q&A with Phil, Miller, and Matt since two of them had to be on set and another one was sick. The band were on one side of the Thames. Afterwards, there was Coldplay karaoke and something about free sandwiches. I think some people tried meeting the band at the set for the video too. Yep.

Absolutely not just saying that to be kind! It's hard to say with just two listens but it's very pretty. I think it might rank rather high for me! (Might be with memories connected to it now but still!)

November 26, 201015 yr i have to say, i don't really appreciate being called ungrateful. it's not like i roasted the band for anything. i said i felt shortchanged. i'm sorry if i didn't have as good a time as everyone else. i didn't even need the band to come to have a good time. my expectations weren't by any means outrageous. i'm just a different type of fan than a lot of people here. coldplay are the top 25 of my itunes list, so it's nothing to do with how much i love their music. i'm just not devoted in that personal way. i mean...we had to sign contracts and everything. this wasn't like we just showed up and had a nice old time. i knew we were being misled, but if i knew the direction i wouldn't have gone. some people will be annoyed i suppose at my saying this, but at this moment it's thanksgiving and i've been away from home for months. the best part of the night was meeting fellow coldplay fans and singing and feeling apart of something, but i think i might have been happier eating turkey with my friends. i love coldplay. they're my favorite band. i think the guys are great guys. this refrain can be seen through hundreds of posts on this forum. it's certainly cool what happened, but i didnt feel the warmth i needed today.
