Hmmm...I'm not a fan of the titles either. The metaphors are too straight forward. :\

But I don't think that means that the songs are bad. I'm sure it will all turn out fine. :nice:

yeah im having some doubts i want things to turn out okay.:\

yes, because people who judge your sexuality based on the type of music you listen to are obviously people whose opinions you should care about

i like the titles

Agreed. Who should care what people say about Coldplay fans? If you like te music, you like it. Don't listen to them.

"Up With The Birds" sounds like a unique, Coldplay-ish title. I like it. :)

I'm sure they will. :)

:uhoh:

so... any news on when this Q interview is coming out?!

so... any news on when this Q interview is coming out?!

I'm a subscriber and I think I'll get it next week.

sweet. I'll have to see how extensive it is before I decide whether or not to trek to Borders once it makes its way over to the US :P

I found another piece of the Q magazine article

The band, who last topped the bill at Glastonbury in 2005, are one of a number of acts rumoured to be headlining the event in Somerset next June.

But in an interview with Q magazine, singer Chris Martin played down the reports and said it “depends if we get asked”.

He added: “That’s like getting asked to dance by Robert Pattinson if you’re a young girl. Imagine if Robert Pattinson called and asked, 'Do you want to touch my balls?'.”

so... any news on when this Q interview is coming out?!

It's out in the shops in UK since yesterday, for foreigner suscribers, next week! ;)

hey guys, ive read the article in Q mag an your not missing any info that has been already posted in the forum. (Apart from Chris saying the band are trying to 'master the handclap' declaring its very hard to do). Is it just me or is it sometimes abit annoying that he doesnt give genuine answers to questions?

Also i cant believe some people on here are thinking they may not like the new tunes because of the track titles????just wait and see!we all know its going to be incredible!

I second that. It seems everyone is in favour of these song titles but I don't particularly like them. And I'm having fears that when I hear the actual music, I won't like that either.:\

So did you love 'viva la vida' when you heard that track title?everyone thought 'oh no ricky martin'!but we all know how good that tune was. Stop reading into the tracks so much and start getting excited!Have coldplay ever released a bad song?????Discussion over.

um, they haven't even announced an album title yet, I doubt they'll be announcing tour dates for a long time :P

^Yeah I think it's a bit early too:thinking:

I think she said before that Coldplay were working out the tour dates with the actual venues or sumfin like that.

Yeah... How can they have tour dates and there is not even news on when the album will be out.

Don't get me wrong would be amazing to find out at least some dates but that's just very unlikely.

Maybe they're scheduling them now but not saying anything for awhile.

Because no one's given any hints on what month the dates are.

people please shut up.

1.where's the rule that says you need to have released the album to announce dates?

2. aren't they actually playing two gigs in mid-december? then why not some more in january??

Ok, but it's still a little soon... I mean, they haven't released the album yet, and they're already planning tourdates? :rolleyes5: :freak:

These are just little performances, not real great concerts!

people please shut up.

1. It's not a matter of the album not being released, I doubt they're going to announce a tour to promote an album, when they haven't even decided on an album name or tracklisting yet.

2. charity gigs =/= tour gigs, look at Exeter last year

just speaking realistically here...

It's not a Coldplay habit to announce tour dates before releasing the album...
