Thanks for the scans! I'll try to get out to buy this today :nice:

Imagine if Robert Pattinson called and asked "do you want to touch my balls?"

CHRIS

This is a wonderful article. It has stoked the fires of curiosity about the new Coldplay work to a fever pitch. Just like Chris to give out just enough info and be cryptic about the rest. Happy Holidays to coldplaying.com from The Church of Chris Martin! xxxxx

happy holidays :D don't burn too many witches will you? xxxxxxxxxx
Those songs name :( horrible

I agree that the song names sound terrible, but I said the same thing about 90% of the song titles on VLV after they announced them and turned out to be completely wrong. "Strawberry Swing" sounded like the WORST song name I'd ever heard, and now that's one of my favorite Coldplay songs of all time. I don't think song titles give away that much, really, but that's just me.

No I have to admit I was much the same. I was like... Ergh, these just sound bad about Lovers in Japan, Strawberry Swing, Life in Technicolor....

Never judge Coldplay by song titles is what I've learnt.

And yeah, they say late 2011 for both Coldplay and Kasabian, but I've heard from Kasabian camp that they're almost finished and they'll be doing new material at IoW in June. So I think that may be record labels erring on the side of caution

I liked all songs name! Am I the only one here?

This article looks great!!! :D I'll have to get it as soon as it's available in the US

Thank you so much for the scans!

I have no idea what the albums gonna sound like, but i hope they'll have songs that blow you away like viva la vida, or violet hill :D

Minute Waltz.......

........cause Chris said in the Aussie cricket guy's interview he would like to meet/be? Chopin.

they even have "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" written on the wall, so I guess they really like it :P

I don't like the ETA of late 2011, though  I'm just going to ignore that part of the article

So before I hated the new titles, but for some reason, they've kind of grown on me. It's weird.

Thx for the scans!! Now mr mailman, what are you doing with my copy!! Hurry please!

I love those title too... Really poetic!

But "late 2011"....it corresponds to what Phil said to a few coldpayers...that the band will tour at the end of the year (hence a late release...)

Those songs name :( horrible

yes they are:disappointed: i really like hurts like heaven though:heart:

Thanks for the scans:nice:

Okay, here's the scan I made of the article from Q:

I have no idea how Guy looks so streched in the picture... It's the same in the magazine

thanks for the scans:kiss::hug:

Tnx! :nice:

Yeah he does look streched! Its a photoshop thing. Its like when you put your LCD TV on widescreen. The ends get streched.

Look how Jonny's stretched the same way- they used a fish-eye lens to get a wider shot of the space. Fish-eye lenses make everything at the edges of the picture look bubbly. The album art for U2's Joshua Tree would be a classic example people here might be familiar with.

Thanks for the scans.

hate that is says Late 2011. i was hoping for mid 2011!

Late 2011 is probably better for me personally...there are too many great releases coming out this year and they're all going to hit at once right around exams :P .

*waits for everyone to come kill me for saying that*

LOL - I only just realized what everyone has been saying about Robert Pattinson has been from a Chris quote!

If the band says they're down to 15 songs, do we really think it's going to take until next fall to get them to us? I mean, I'm not ignorant to the process of finding the right version of a song, mixing, recording, producing, blah blah (maybe a little ignorant to specifics but understand the time it takes...), but could that really take so long? I mean they've already booked something for June??? Isn't that an indicator? I know they've done gigs and shows while recording but I can't imagine they show up to that and just play the same old songs.

I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS...probably not the first though...

The album has to do with this anti-Nazi movement in Germany and these shows they've got are in Germany...doesn't that sound like a kick off to you?

I know everyone says what Phil told them, but I don't see why he'd have to necessarily tell the truth. It'd be a good lie anyway!

AH! NO!

lol...jk. what are these other releases? (sorry for asking about non-Coldplay stuff folks)

*kills you* :P

I want somewhere around May, even if it screws with my studying- I love having a Coldplay summer, like we did in 08 *wistful sigh* :wacky:

Thank you for the scans!

yep, I agree, we can't judge songs just for their title! Strawberry Swing and Clocks are examples of that! let's not forget Viva La Vida either

I'm more worried about the release date: late 2011

Thank you for posting the scans people!

I remember that Phil told some other fans at the Bakery earlier, that they are almost finished with the album, didn´t he?
