I don't think that they'd go to all that festivals (Rock im Park etc.), making a new album etc. just to say after that "Oh yeah, Coldplay's actually over.". :l

Well Coldplay has been a part of my life for 8 years! Theres not a day when i don't listen to them or don't think about their music. My obsession is pretty obvious and when you integrate something into your life, its very hard to just forget if its taken away from you. I guess it would feel like letting go of someone very close to you :confused: I'd be depressed for a loooooooong time i reckon :\

I would so FLIP OUT that I would end up going to an insane hospital :P

EXACTLY. They have been in my life since I was 10! They have been with me through so many things :( but let's just enjoy them while we still have them. Ill miss this stage of anticipation of another new album. But hey I've been rediscovering the old stuff and hearing it like I did the first time.

Actually, This has already happened to me.

When I was in college and studying music, I used to play a lot of Coldplay stuff and most of

the other guys in my class were into Death Metal, so they used to wind me up about Coldplay all the time;

and one day I came into class and my lecturer was like 'Hey, did you see that Coldplay have broke up? it's all over the news'

I was shocked but because I didn't want to get a load of shit off the guys in the class I was like 'I don't care, whatever'

but inside I was dying :P

then they told me they were joking, and I was quietly relieved.
