i don't see why you should feel sorry for someone who would make something like this a priority. i mean, i guess i can understand, since you're probably only looking at it like, oh, it's just some guy talking about Coldplay in a video every week.

but the reason why i wanted to contribute to this project is because i really love video editing and i thought this would be an awesome opportunity to help create something. some people make a living doing stuff like this, so it's not really like we're all just sad people without lives.

 

and, as Christina said a few pages back, Jamie's not the only one who worked on this. :P

 

Hey don't get me wrong I think its a great idea but if you love video editing make one yourself. There is nothing stopping you. I just find it bizarre that everyone is giving this guy a hard this just because he hasn't posted a few videos. Its not like its scheduled programming which you've paid a tv licence for. Just give the guy a break. He hasn't got internet access and when he does he'll give his reasons. And before you start on that fact he has a smartphone...yes you can get on to this site BUT maybe he just hasn't had time and maybe didn't think everyone would get so anal on the fact he hasn't posted a video for a while. If Ian didn't post news for a while due to other commitments I would be horrified if people were up in arms about it. Remember this is all voluntary, nobody has to do anything.

hey, if Jamie is just too busy to run this thing, i would be glad to take over. but a few people on here thought it would be rude to just go on without him, and i kinda agree that we should just wait until he comes back on here to state his position on the whole thing... if he ever does...

If it were my project, and due to problems I couldn't post, I would move heaven and earth to get on here and explain why hoping people would understand and still have faith in the project.

He looked like a great chap on the boat thingie, loved his storytelling of when he met Chris, but I would indeed opt for another team to take over if we want to keep this Coldplaying TV alive because it's a great idea (also Jamie's, credit to those who earn it!)

I think if anything, Reilly just wants to be entertained, and this has been a severe letdown. I don't blame him for being crushed and frustrated.

Haha yknow it baffles me too, yet when I go on the Lounge I now always get the temptation to come to the dark side and visit this thread. I had a lil fun trulling a rick-roll 'new CTV video' and now I've just taken an interest in how ridiculous this all is, how there were supposed to be 2 videos a week and there's only been 2 since it started and not even an apology (More of a 'Hah!' instead). Originally I was on Jamie's side, he doesn't get paid for this, but it's just beyond a joke now and he's made these promises and still acts so casually about it all despite the massive delays.

 

But I find it weird when I talk about how 'we' haven't had updates because personally I don't even care about a new video arriving, but I have taken an interest in how this all has developed and how people have been treated unfairly.

How many times?? He has no right to apologise for anything. This is all voluntary he has no obligation to put anything on there. We no now he has no internet and therefore wouldn't be able to upload anything. Also everything is quiet on the Coldplay front in terms of LP5. All we no is it is likely to come out in the autumn. You need to calm down and stop making a big deal out of this. He has posted two videos accept it and stop trying to make him look like a tyrant or a dictator. Your trying to make him look like a bad person when you don't even no him.

I am chilled out, was there any single thing I said which implies I'm frustrated, angry or even emotional on any level? I made my point, he clearly doesn't care, you seem to just blur over the fact he's made no effort to log in and update, that point still remains- he stupidly promised a few times that a new video is coming V V SOON and of course it hasn't happened. He broke his promises, end of. As Doritji said, if this was something Jamie cares about he'd at the very least want to update us on what's happening.

 

I may be hard on him but I have my reasons, I'm not relying on probabilities, you're biased and way too easy on him brushing over the little details that don't favour him. You'd expect him to take a few mins to update at the very least, and besides, he doesn't know one person with the internet? SRSLY? I also don't see what's stopping him making videos without internet connection.
