well, if people really want to revive CTV, we could start a new youtube account and someone else can take over as host (or maybe we would have more than one host/more than one person who knows the account login info, just in case something happens again). i still have the opening sequences saved to my computer, and i'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get the closing sequence...
If you need another YT channel the Coldplaying one is rarely used, it has 1300 followers at the moment and I'd be happy to upload stuff there :)

well, it seems as though jamie does intend on returning in the near future and so until then we shall just wait.

but thanks for the offer.

Seeing as he has internet issues which is a FAIR reason, people who have slated should firstly apologise and secondly run off with their tales between their legs

Sorry jamie for thinking you gave up.

But anyway, I think it would be great if more people were involved in CTV, more hosts etc.

maybe it's an idea to make much shorter video's. Under 5 min each, high tempo etc.

So guys who don't get all the fangirl talk (like me ) can easily skip the fangirl0talk video's.

+ it would be interesting to have a fangirl host the fangirl talk. (if she's pretty I'll watch anyways :wink3:)

*tails*

Well, yeah they should probably apologize, but most already did. And it's not our fault we complained, after all it's been about a month without any news at all.

What you say about 13 minutes being too long is good fair constructive criticism no doubt about it. BUT the fact that you don't ever come onto the Coldplay section to post about the bands music and the such makes me wonder why you decided to start viewing this CTV?

Josh sent me the link, I gave my advice, since then I've been compelled by someone who claims they want to hear criticism and at the same time when it actually happens sticking their fingers in their ears and going LALALALA. I will admit that it's interesting to see Coldplaying on youtube, and I do check now and then to see if a new video is up, but to be honest I flicked through the first one very quickly and if he does do regular videos I can't imagine I'd check them out. I've just made my points, which aren't even condemning or over the top.

Very Very Harsh...shame on you, people have lives outside a computer screen and for you to hide behind it and call him a coward....disgusting, grow up

I said he's possibly a coward, I think if he intended to continue this we would know about it. I'll relate this to the last quote:

Well you say 'he has internet issues' as if it's a fact, he has instant access to Facebook within a few hours to respond, but never had the opportunity to come on the board and explain? I'm not saying he should be strung up for not explaining himself (Though as I mentioned before he did pwwwomise) but at the very least he's not taking it seriously if he can go around poking people on Facebook but not take 2mins to update us on the forum.

My phones shit but it still gives me access to any webpage, I'd find it hard to believe that a phone would give access to Facebook but not the internet, and even so, if he doesn't have 1 single friend with the internet then I find it very hard to believe he's a busy man.

Reilly, phones are being made for easy access to Facebook now.

Fine, good enough.

You know what is awesome? You can access coldplaying from an iPhone. I've done it before. And it isn't even that hard and doesn't take more than 2 minutes to do.

2 minutes, bookmark it and it takes like 5 seconds. it saves ur username and password so u dont even have to log on. im on at school all the time.

I'm sure they are, I've seen smartphones with facebook on the main screen, I just find it hard to believe he has access to facebook and not the internet.

Facebook has mutated and no longer requires the internet to live.

Yeah, but he doesn't actually frequent Facebook hugely often in terms of posts... I think. Anyways, Coldplaying isn't exactly his first priority. I think he has this weird thing called a life. Personally I have no freakin' clue what this 'life' business is, but... well, y'know, each to his own :P

Just be patient guys. There will either be a new video soon (he DID say there was one coming up, but then his internet exploded or something), or nothing. If there's nothing, he's likely to announce it officially.

My two cents :)

He doesn't HAVE to come on here and say anything. Ok he promised stuff but once again this is not a priority in anyones life and if it is I feel sorry for you. I really enjoy coming on here, its great fun BUT I do have other priorities in my life which are more important

I love how serious and worked up all of you get defending the videos haha

I think we're not saying he should ONLY do coldplayingTV. My opinion is: if you can't make/have time for it, don't make the commitment of volounteering then. I have a website too, I know how time consuming it is and I have a life as well. But I make time for it, because it's my 'baby'.

I'm glad it works, so I don't have to do anything special to make it happen! :laugh3:

Finally! Someone who doesn't just go "Yeh hav u herd dis ting called lyf innit?" in a patronising and smug manner for the dozenth time, thank you.

That's exactly what I'm saying, I've taken an interest in this because I find this man annoying, and he originally promised 2 videos a week! It's been over a month! If he can't do it, which so far he can't, then just fucking say so, or say you'll post a video whenever you can.

But yes, the more I find out the more irritating he gets, even his message:

"Hah! Tell them I've moved into a new flat and I'm in between wifi access so I can't do anything until I have that. I literally only have my iPhone for Internet. Lol. Xo"

It's so smug- you haven't done anything for ages!

i don't see why you should feel sorry for someone who would make something like this a priority. i mean, i guess i can understand, since you're probably only looking at it like, oh, it's just some guy talking about Coldplay in a video every week.

but the reason why i wanted to contribute to this project is because i really love video editing and i thought this would be an awesome opportunity to help create something. some people make a living doing stuff like this, so it's not really like we're all just sad people without lives.

and, as Christina said a few pages back, Jamie's not the only one who worked on this. :P

It's very simple, either you spend 100% of your time having a wickedly mental life with loads of friends and parties, or you spend 100% of your time in a cellar making wanky lil videos- there is no inbetween.

This is probably the worst part of it all. Other people did make participating at one point their priority, let Jamie do the rest (probably because he voluntarily wanted to do so, seeing as he made it into a Coldplay related Jamie show). He has most of all betrayed their trust. Their trust that their hard work turn into something great.
