Most obscure Coldplay song you've heard on radio/TV?

Featured Replies

Don't Panic! :D On the way home on the bus on Radio 2 - that was great!

Oh and on Radio One at Christmas they played Have your self a merry little Christmas and on a local radio they played their cover of 2000 miles. :awesome:

Radio 2 I think are the only radio station in the UK that plays that song! I remember hearing Stuart Maconie play it last year on his show.

I don't know if y'all have heard of a store called Anthropologie, but they often play the 'obscure' Coldplay tracks in their store's, last time I was there they were playing Rainy Day.

On the radio it was Green Eyes

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas was on the radio on Christmas Eve.

It was on the radio in a small town when we were driving through. It definitely caught me by surprise because when they said "And here's Coldplay.." I was expecting Christmas Lights!

I heard Gravity on an episode of The Block here last year.

on a fieldtrip for my geology class, a guy in my group played "a rush of blood to the head" in his car twice, because he heard it on a tv show and loved it. I forgot what show he said, even though i didnt hear it personally, i thought it was cool it played on tv.

He said "sorry guys but I love this song and its my car so im playing it twice" haha, I was ok with it :P

Your Love Means Everything.

technically it's faultline, but Chris does all the vocals.

That and Lhuna are the most obscure.

I heard The Hardest Part & The Scientist on a german TV Show..

Yesterday they played One I Love from the Live DVD on our local music TV channel!

I couldn´t believe it!

I hear Coldplay songs playing in the back of cheap German TV shows all the time, but when HIGH SPEED played I was transfixed to the screen :wideeyed:

And then my mother asked "My, your stare, is that show that interesting, what is it about?!" and I was like "Hell I don't know"

*cough* RTL in the afternoon *cough*

My mom came in my room while VLV was playing on one of those shows, I couldn't stop giggling and my mom didn't get it.

It would probably have to be "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" ...however, I do recall hearing a remix of Speed of Sound many years ago in a department store.... can't remember which remix it was though.

X&Y (the song) was playing at a cd store a couple of days ago

Radio station played don't panic after bugging them for a couple weeks.

enjoyed it so much on the radio :D
