I think they should release a single before summer tour. most of the people forgot coldplay because there is lots of new band nowadays and colplay should show to the world that COLDPLAY IS COMING BACK! And remind themselves to the world..

Do you think that they will be able to release a live dvd from those summer concert? If they do, it would be very awesome!

If they go touring in June (Festivals), that means that the album must be finished by then if they want it released 'towards Autumn'. Maybe they will 'premiere' new songs on tour! :D

Well, I am not proud of it. But yes, I have done it. It wasn't THE most important Exam of my life but an exam nonetheless. I did re-appeared for it, told the teacher I was sick. She agreed.. haha.

Well I guess we pretty much know it's October - don't we? They'll be doing festivals most of June, July and August.

 

Me thinks they'll sandwich a single and b-sides in there. If it's an October release, they could also release a single in August...which is later than I'd like but still its something. That'd be about when they would anyways, right? Six-Eight weeks before an album?

 

I know some idiots do it way early, but we're past that point for Coldplay.

Well . . . if the rumors are true and Coldplay are playing two concerts in South Africa in October, then I would say that the new album would have to be out by then! It's been a year since they've played a Viva concert--and they've already given away their jackets and such. :wink3:

 

I still think October, though. Maybe the 1st?

If they have 2 concerts there in October they must give people some time to listen to the album before listening to the songs live anyway :shrug:

Guys, this is big news. Yesterday, I met coldplay in a fan meet near the beehive. I asked why they are hiding the release date of their new album and, more importantly, when it will finally come out! They were slow to respond and chris refused to give me and us coldplayers and info on the new album. Johnny was less concerned for hiding new info on lp5. He didn't tell when when the release date was, but he did tell me that we should be expecting a new single sooner than expected!!! Of course, I asked him when and what the name of the single was, but that was all he was going to tell me... I wonder how soon it will really be!! Thank you johnny, for finally giving us some lp5 info
