March 12, 201115 yr I think Coldplay really needs to bring out the bass. In half their songs I can't even hear Guy! They need a nice bass solo, like Chris Wolstenholme of Muse does in Hysteria, Time is Running Out, etc. Guy deserves his time to shine. :P don't mean to turn this into a Muse vs Coldplay thread (cuz they are both amazing in different ways) but I really think that Chris from Muse is a better bass player and more innovative than Guy. Who knows, Guy might surprise us.

As the VLV tour progressed, he became thinner and thinner Coldplay haven't been touring for 12 months now - plenty of time for Chris to spend in the gym, something he probably doesn't get the chance to do whilst on tour.
