Katy Perry is better than Gaga. She accepts that she is pop and revels in it, rather than trying to pretend to be anything else. Her songs are catchy, like Gaga's but in a better way.

Yeah they are shit now.

 

I like the first albums rawness. The second one is more produced but in a good way, and just as biting so it sits alongside the first in terms of greatness in my opinion. After that it was mainly the singles for third album and the rest of their work is wank from what I've heard.

 

Their first 3 albums are GEMS, GOLDEN studded gems. They sorta had a falling out and became big-headed and mainstreamed their music. It's tough to admit it but it's true!

They lost their awesome southern country/rock psychedelic sound and went for a more generic rock. IDK.

 

I still enjoyed OBTN, Their last was much more forgettable.

 

Tis sad.

They were the the ones that kind of brought me into the music scene I'm currently part of. :disappointed:

Sure is sad, but I'm glad I got two and a half albums out of them. And they made heaps of money.
