ETIAW has scarred me so much. Still have yet to listen to the new songs.

They are much much much much much much better than ETIAW, don't be too scared.

Martin farting for 3 minutes would be much better than ETIAW.

haha, well they are better than that too

ETIAW has scarred me so much. Still have yet to listen to the new songs.

The other songs >>>>> ETIAW. Trust me on this one, Briggs.

Song has me thinking to tom petty's 'last dance with mary jane' and pink floyd oddly enough.

I was trying to place it.

Definitely some Pink Floyd vibe to it.

I agree w/ the talk about a Floyd vibe. Also the songs reminds me of Bowies Space Oddity too

Finally listened to it for the first time about a half hour ago. After a few listens, it's great to hear how the song itself progresses, the different parts somehow fit so well together. Maybe MTM will be to the LP5 era what Amsterdam was to the AROBTTH era? Only time will tell.

And I totally agree with the Pink Floyd vibe thing. I wonder if Chris started listening to The Dark Side of the Moon toward the beginning of last year...

edit: The progression kind of goes from Billie Holiday to 10cc (I'm Not In Love) to Pink Floyd. Or something like that.

"Moving to Mars" = victory.

I didn't like the beginning at first, but it's grown on me. I like it more when it gets to the part when the piano is stronger ("And I heard it on the radio..."); it somehow reminds me a little of "42." I couldn't keep myself from smiling around the 2 minute mark when the drums came in full swing. This song makes me happy. Thank you, Coldplay.

^ agree

but i would rather it to stay as a b-side. MM is much better

I actually don't like "Major Minus" as much as "Moving to Mars."

I'm so looking forward to see the Glasto performance :cheesy:

So am I! And I get to watch in in HD on my tv instead of on some crappy stream for once!

Do you guys think they'll pull out new songs considering its glasto?

Seriously this is such a great show, it's a shame the studio versions of the new songs are crap. They should make a live album.

God Put a Smile was amazing :bomb:

Shiver. Everything's Not Lost.

They actually rocked GPASUYF.

I hope they don't play VLV or ETIAW. But that won't happen.

Pleasantly surprised at them bringing in some oldies though. :)

Everything's not lost :dazzled:

This.

Performance is a bit shit.

Maybe cause of the crowd. I dunno. And Chris was acting like an idiot during UATW.

Still glad they played some old songs.

And now it's VLV. :(

Crowd comes alive. Jesus Christ. Now? You wanna sing along now?
