This is weird. I have several band shirts, but I've never owned any Coldplay ones.

 

I've been a fan forever, and I just never thought that a shirt, particularly one that says "coldplay" could ever do justice as to what the band and their music mean to me, which is not the case with other bands whose shirts I'll be happy to wear.

 

The closest thing I've ever had, was a customization I did to my favorite jeans. I made a one color stencil of Jonny from a picture from the AROBTTH tour, it was white on black denim. For most people, it looked like a blob. But I loved it. It was subtle enough that it meant something for me but for not for someone who has heard of the band.

 

This is in no way a criticism to anyone who wears Coldplay shirts. I've looked through shirts that are more subtle, and not as obvious coldplay references, but still, I haven't connected to a shirt in a level that I think I should in order to wear it.
