Long term Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich has revealed to The Quietus that sessions for the band's new album are "going great".

 

In May, bass player Colin Greenwood told the BBC that the band had entered the studio with Godrich to start work on a follow up to In Rainbows, but were at a very early stage of the recording process and working from "scrapbooks".

 

But a tight-lipped Godrich told The Quietus: "The sessions have started, that's what I'm working on at the moment.

 

"It's going fine. It's going great, but apart from that I have nothing else to report."

 

When asked if any release dates had been discussed, he replied: "None at all."

it's cool to see them keeping everything under wraps. i mean the DAS posts they've had have not been revealing at all with the exception of what the band is listening to

yeah me too... i want to get the album soon, but i don't want them to rush things. i'm really interested to see though what thom will play at his solo gig, and if there will be any new stuff (either possible new radiohead or solo stuff)

we're just playing pyramid song on guitar and piano with my friend whom I live with now. and sing with our terrible voices. I feel much better now. ahh it's all good.

My fave Radiohead album is The Bends. OK Computer is, well, ok. Was disappointed with In Rainbows.
