agreed

Hey guys.

About 5 months after starting to like Radiohead, I finally listened to Kid A today! I don't know what to say about it... kinda left me blank... the good thing is, I tried listening to it lying on my bed, eyes closed... that was a great feeling.

I know I'll have to listen to it a lot more times to chose the songs I like the most, but these 3 stand out for now: Optimistic, Idioteque, The National Anthem.

I can't wait for Prague... we're going for the rail and today I got my first "fuck, what if we don't manage to get it" feeling. :bigcry:

Great photos, Marina! :nice: Btw, was it you who sent me a FB invite today? :D

Anna, I had a dream last night about being at Thom's concert in a nearby town and you were there, too! :laugh4:

Milica, it'll take a while to fully appreciate it. If you watch Meeting People Is Easy first and then listen to the album, it'll be even easier to understand it, I think. :)

Last week I was front row at a coldplay concert(it was amazing!).

I wonder what radiohead would be like:cool::cool:

Did not know they were playing in Prague!!! have fun!!

But ahahaha, that's quite great. I had the same dream a while back except it was Briggins I saw

Yellow745 (what's your name?) thats awesome about the Coldplay concert, good that you're getting into Radiohead as well. But I don't understand how early you people have to get to concerts to get front row, I've been to about 12 in my life and the closest I've gotten was like 5 rows back at the Killers, and it was a tiny venue

best performance ever

I've only queued for a long time once, but we arrived at around 5:40 or 6 AM (I can't remember exactly) and we still weren't the first in line. It is a whole lot easier to get barrier if you queue but sometimes you get lucky and get to the front either way. I guess it just depends on the band. I found th experience a lot of fun and totally worth it in the end; I wouldn't mind doing it again for a band I really love.

I would do that for Radiohead for sure, even though I still would love to just see them period - up front or the worst seats in the house.

Hello anna, My name is Brenda :)

Well first of all it depends where you are...

For instance, the Coldplay concert I went to was in Houston, Texas. Alot of ppl here arent hard-core music fanatics crazy enough to camp out at the venue. I got like 2 hours early and there was barely any ppl there. But however if they had a concert in lets say England ppl would line up days before:P:P:P

My sister got to see Radiohead last year in houston and she was in the very front of the pit :D. Her boyfriend even got to meet Thom (that lucky bastard:laugh3:) However they said they got to the venue like 6 hours before and there were already ppl there, some even camped out the night before. I guess it also depends what band as well:P:P

new DAS:

Merce Cunningham 1919 - 2009

We are very sad to hear about Merce Cunningham’s death yesterday, aged ninety.

Merce invited us to take part in his Split Sides project, in October 2003. It was a collaboration of music and dance, but one where each of the elements - set, costume,

choreography and music - were randomly combined, to create a performance around chance. He was very kind and hospitable, and invited us around to his apartment the night before the show. He showed us his computer program which generated random sequences of gesture and movement for wire-framed mannequins, like Kraftwerk’s Robots. He also showed us, the next night, that discipline and focus can create the space for an unexpected moment, when something new can suddenly exist: such a contrast to the scripted world of rock.

What's the best acoustic version of "The Clock"?

I want one to keep on my iPod.

So far, the one from Jools Holland has the best quality...but I haven't watched that many vids, so...

perhaps the one from Henry Rollins?

I actually prefer the guitar and piano versions of the eraser's songs

Its quite easy to get in the front row with a radiohead concert. With Both concerts i went from radiohead, i stood almost front row :nice: guess i was lucky.

But it also depends on the location. And the band of course.

perhaps the one from Henry Rollins?

This one is great!!!

Thank you.
