July 27, 201115 yr Well I bit the bullet and bought a ticket to LA. Just can't miss the opportunity to see the guys in a smaller venue. This hopefully will hold me over till the official tour starts, but you can never get enough Coldplay. I would love to meet some of my fellow Coldplayers. Anyone know what time we can start picking up the free tickets?

That's the way they make their Grammy Foundation Money, selling all the high tickets first, then release the cheap ones a week before. I guess that's ok, I mean it is a benefit for kids:) I have to get with Dianne, I think we are gonna get there early and walk around, maybe spot certain people, hear a soundcheck, meet some Coldplayers from here:)

No! What does everyone at USC have in common? They didn't get into UCLA. :laugh3: I graduated from UCLA in 2008, so Im partial to it.
July 28, 201115 yr FYI - When I won my tickets, I submitted my name again and won a second pair. Incase anyone else had the same luck, here is a response I just received from SSK regarding winning twice and the time free tickets will be available. "Each ticket allows you plus a guest to attend. We will be checking ID against the names on the ticket. You will only be able to claim one of the pairs. We hope to begin distributing tickets with seat locations shortly after 6:30p."

July 28, 201115 yr I did not win any tickets. This winning tickets sucks. I went to Ticketmaster and they sold out the last right when it was my turn. There were people who won tickets and wanted to sell them to me, and then someone bought them. I am now stuck without a ticket. I can buy one for $300 from a scalper. I don't have that kind of money. They should have had all the tickets for sale so whoever wanted one could have one fairly.
July 28, 201115 yr I tried to win twice because I thought some friends would be able to come but they can't. I had hoped to give away my other free tickets to some fans at the gate. I don't feel right taking money for something that is free especially when it's a benefit concert.
