I dont get whats so special about achtung baby, I cant get into it after a few listens.

To me U2s music seems very monotonous except for a few hit songs, idk just dont get it. Thats why I respect and lsten to coldplays music because there always changing it up (not the way linkin park chages it up, MY GOD :facepalm:), making it interesting. Plus coldplay uses a whol array of intruments. oh well my lose I suppose, I still respect U2 as artist also

 

Jmm I think the hits by U2 are their worst songs. I mean, With Or Without You, Beautiful Day... Songs like The Fly or Even Better Than The Real Thing are masterpieces, musically and lyrically.

 

And I think Linkin Park is a good band, not a GREAT one, but they're good.

Even Better Than the Real Thing, One, Whos going to ride your wild horses, The Fly, Mysterious Ways and Ultravilot are the only good tracks on it but that is a good % of the album.

I was saying linkin parks first 2 albums were pretty good but then they pulled a 180 and decided to go Nsync with minutes to midnight, thousand suns was a tad better. And as for achtung baby, thats what I was getting at, everyone says its pretty much perfect but I dont see it.:(

Pink floyd is beyond great, love almost all there albums except final cut and monentary lapse of reason or whatever its called (dont feel like lookin it up) wish you were here is the shiiitttt

Are you implying that With or Without You is a bad song? Sure, lesser-knowns like The Fly and Until the End of the World are brilliant (though The Fly was a moderate hit), but so are New Year's Day, Pride, One, Mysterious Ways and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. U2 have always been a single band; most of their album-only cuts aren't exactly brilliant, especially recently (though those on the Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are obvious exceptions). I'd take Beautiful Day and Vertigo over pretty much any of the other cringe-worthy songs on their respective albums.
