Ok, Damon Albarn is my hero, and I love the man more than Chris Martin, but this is unfair. Do you really think that everything Damon does is 100% original?

 

This song's my favourite Blur song (and I'm a big Blur fan), but it's totally different to Paradise. There isn't much soul in Sing, it's mostly whispered lyrics - because Damon wasn't comfortable with his voice - and guitar theatrics from Coxon. Paradise is an obvious single, it's a stadium singalong, but it doesn't mean that effort hasn't gone in to craft it.

 

Let's draw a line under all this now?
