Lhuna or Lost+?

Featured Replies

I don't know if this is in the right place, but I wondered everyone's opinion on collaborations, in the light of the Rihanna thing.

Just wondered which song people preferred and why. :)

Lhuna for sure. It's really haunting. Kyle has a really gypsy sounding voice and it works well with Chris's voice, which on this track sounds really tired and like he's been drinking (that's supposed to be a complement) Will's awesome on that track too.

Lost+ is fine but in my mind unnessisary. It takes away from Johnny's awesome guitaring and I don't think Jay-Z adds all that much. Again it's not bad, but I don't think it's as good as the original.

Also, does anyone know where I can download Lhuna? I really want to buy it but I can't find it anywhere, even on the MSN charity thing it was written for.

Lhuna all the way. One of the most underrated CP tracks ever

Lhuna because Lost was perfect even without JZ, but Kyle is really a great addition on Lhuna, making the duet work very well

Lhuna of course. Kyle and Chris' voices fit awesome!

but Jay-Z? no way!

I love both of them. I haven't voted as I can't choose between them.

But as a rap vocal, I think Lost+ is superb. It's intelligent for one, got a message behind it, and the "See Martin" sort of makes it. The guitar solo's nothing special, but it's one of Jay-Z's best verses. I suppose if you're not into rap though, it's vile :P

Lhuna!

i liked Lost+, even though it wasn't really different from Lost! at all apart from Jay-Z's bit, but i like Lhuna more. :P

Lhuna every month of the year, every week of the month, every day of the week, every hour of the day, every minute of the hour and every second of the minute....

Agree with JM-SP2. One of the most underrated Coldplay tracks. Kylie's voice works beautifully. It's a perfect collaboration and not a desperate selling out one.

Tough choice because I love both. Lhuna just wins out though because I'm a hardcore Kylie fan. I just wish it was a bit...tighter a guess. It has some weak spots but overall I love it. It definitely has 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' vibe all over it.

Still a bit pressed they never used it on an LP or EP. Here's hoping for a new collab in the future.

I was thinking earlier that what with the slow start to Viva, the album could've started with Life in Technicolor, moved onto Lovers In Japan, Lost, 42 and then placed Lhuna at 5th track as the ballad. Then gone Yes/Glass of Water, Viva, Violet, Strawberry, Death.

I'll have to go with Lhuna. I think Chris and Kylie sound great together vocal-wise, plus I think it's a very haunting melody with Chris' low-register

I'm not a fan of rap at all, so Lost+ does nothing for me, although I'll admit that Jay-Z's lyrics aren't bad in that retrospect.

Lhuna. Kylie's voice fits so well with Chris'. I wont lie, when I heard they had a duet, I was afraid. Now, I love it. I have some hope that the same will happen with Rhianna, however, its becoming a challenge since I REALLY REALLY despise her  :(
