The Final Track
Wouldn't surprise me if they haven't heard it in it's entirety either.
Brent
No please no... The church organ thing is about a different song right? What's wrong with organs? I love them. Their textures kinda make me melt in my seat. :wacky:

Tryptophan
 I was thinking the same thing. Yeah, it's quite possible that they actually know a lot less then we know. ;) By the way, as much as you love organs, I don't. Simple as that. Guest howyousawtheworld
I'd be pretty sure he's heard the whole album. Sense the reviewer is a big advocate of Viva La Vida but not so of this one.
getithom
I love when bands use church organ! (Coldplay's Fix You, Radiohead's Motion Picture Soundtrack, a few older Keane songs). They're beautiful! I'm really excited for this one now. Absolutely this! I love church organs in most music.
WeddingDom
Why the review is so short? :\ Church organ! :dazzled:
Brent
Absolutely this! I love church organs in most music. :wacky: I actually played Fix You on an organ at a church last year over Christmastime (every year I play Christmas music on piano for churches and parties around St. Louis). It was really cool.
Guest howyousawtheworld
As long as the church organ isn't like it's crashing down Westminster Abbey style then that's fine.
Mimixxx
By comparison VLV got 9 from Spin. But bit of a nothing review really
Brent
By comparison VLV got 9 from Spin. But bit of a nothing review really It's become pretty evident that this one isn't going to be as great at VLV, but I still welcome any Coldplay album with open arms. :D
The Final Track
If they mix the church organ in the same way they've mixed the synths so far (in, say, Moving to Mars), I don't think I'm gonna like it.

Hartroc
MPS is awesome! Ohhh man. I forgot. NEON BIBLE all the way :wacky: Intervention and My Body is a Cage are freakin' masterpieces.
GTskilled
Im sure MX will be as great as VLV, just on another way. A way you have to like.
Brent
Intervention and My Body is a Cage are freakin' masterpieces. Intervention is really great. Simple and haunting. I love it, but I really think it will make me go insane if I listen to it too much. Like a brown note.
Fix42YellowClocks
I can sense the shit about to go down... Correct. NOOOOOO. It doesn't need any more laying. At all. Period. Viva was the first album that didn't have an acoustic-type song and UATW is it for MX. Why can't it be like the live version? It could very well make it better though. And that means we actually really haven't heard th wholee song even with the live versions if there's an organ. Guess we'll have to see... :| Organ's never impressed me though. Fix You and Lost! are good songs but the song is amazing the way it is.

I love it, but I really think it will make me go insane if I listen to it too much. Like a brown note. THIS! It's one of those songs which you find amazing but it takes a while to recover from each listen so it's never on repeat like other songs!
ApproximatelyInfinite
I tend to put vague trust in SPIN and RS, so for now I'm going to say that the 7/10 has me pretty excited...but then again, I think all high-profile reviews are crap :P The third paragraph is kind of along the lines of what I expected, but 7/10 is still pretty great. Guest howyousawtheworld
I think this album will get the same reception as X&Y. Some will love it. Others won't.

Guest howyousawtheworld
That could be applied to any album ever released :| Maybe with VLV but not with Parachutes or AROBTTH. I'm talking about Coldplay fans opinion here, not the general music fan. :blank:
