Up in flames studio version is amazing

That last bit is definitely Chris. But, unlike some of you, I actually love how his voice sounds there. It's raw emotion, something I can't say for most of the album.

This one hasn't hit me yet (heard it twice), but it is very interesting. Minimalistic, bold even.

Love the verses and the way he sings 'kno-ow' :wacky:

And  foxeh, for a cremation, that is really wrong.

Uhm, I have just fallen in love with this song. It's sooo good, I swear. Not being a fangirl. You just have to surrender, or something.

Awesome song!!

O.K. the beginning sounds little strange. Reminds me of the song "SoLaLa" by the Gerfman Rappers "Blumentopf".

But the part, when the piano goes up is so beautiful...

I really hope they're gonna play this live, and everybody(well at least me:D) sings along with ''Up in flames, up in flames, up in flames'' I swear I might cry when they play this live.

I like this one. :D

It's really good! I love how it's pretty much just piano and that backbeat.

The first ten seconds or so are really strange but than its a perfect song for someone who broke up his relationship and just feels nothing or emptiness. And this feeling covers the song. Great in a way...

At first I didn't like the last vocal, but after like six listens I do!

Only part I don't like is the "Can we pour some water on" at the end, the vocal sounds terrible. Rest of the song was great.

Really? I think it sounds incredibly sincere and heartbroken. I thought it was brilliant.

Is that Guy's bass as sort of an echo to the drums throughout the song? In the ACL performance, Guy doesn't start playing until the second chorus.

Am I the only one who love the drumbeat? :dazzled:

No you're not! :dazzled:

I like it, and I love the sal****er

at first I didnt know what to think, I thought it was to simple and that it needed more johnny but after countless listens I love the song, I know people dont like it because its "boring" but fits its spot in the album perfectly and thats all that counts, just like in movies this album doesnt need constant action, you have to have a slow point of reflection

I really hope they're gonna play this live, and everybody(well at least me:D) sings along with ''Up in flames, up in flames, up in flames'' I swear I might cry when they play this live.

I was thinking the same thing!:)

It would be so powerful!

I am like the only one on this website that realized back when UIF was first played in Austin that the drumbeat is the exact same as Princess Of China!

No seriously, i think I am the only one on this website. :inquisitive:

i think when they play it live, after Will hits the bass drum and hits his stick on the snare, people will clap. EX: *Boom* *clap**Boom**clap* and so on.

I like the song , but they could have done more with the chorus .. I dont like him just singing up in flames like 15 times. It has high potential , could have been amazing
