The transitions are seemless and all the songs are beautiful. I'm sure in a few months my love for this album will die down a bit once I overplay it but I believe I will love this album always and forever. Which in a sense, is a good thing but still. Every album needs that MEGA HIT. And with all due respect to Charlie Brown its just not as universally appealing as Viva la Vida > DLIBYH is very joyful and uplifting, but lacks cohesiveness or any clear direction. As good as it sounds in bits and pieces, it is too all over the place. One thing's for sure: this album is a winner. it exceeded my expectations, which were already high to begin with. (wonderful acoustic number) Princess of China (good because of the transition from U.F.O, so it's bearable to listen) Major Minus (epic, but kinda overplayed) Ok: M.M.I.X./Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall (The build up in M.M.I.X though is great, actually makes me want to listen to ETIAW) Up in Flames (a little too simple, could have been much better) Paradise (overplayed, just not in the mood anymore) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
