HAHA.. I danced too.. and apologies for anyone who has trodden on feet from me too! It's hard to jump up and down on the spot when people are jostling you left right and centre! LOL.. but what a buzz..

I will write a FULL review anyone who wants it.. and publish it on my website later today.. but right now I need to actually get up and get dressed!! LOL..

I'd love to read it! Bugger getting up though, I tried that and am going back to bed!! :laugh3:

Hi, here is my video of UATW, we were right at the C-stage

Did you see Brian Eno at the C-stage? I thought I did before the concert started, though I didn't like to stare too much. It's a shame us people with GA who weren't in the front didn't make more of an effort to meet up, it's always nice to say 'hi'.

Another reflection - these past two London gigs seem like a very different crowd...the only Viva t-shirt I saw last night was mine. No Coldplaying tees at all :/

Coldplay overcame heavy rain to perform for "the best fans in the world" as their UK tour continued in London last night (2nd June).

The band delighted the sold-out crowd with a career-spanning set at the second of three gigs at the Emirates Stadium.

Taking to the stage a week ahead of their appearance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball, Coldplay kicked off their performance with 'Hurts Like Heaven'.

The song was one of a number of tracks played from their latest album 'Mylo Xyloto' and was accompanied by the band's now infamous flashing wristbands, given to every audience member on arrival at the stadium.

Frontman Chris Martin could barely contain his excitement as he leapt around the stage, which featured three long runways extending into the audience.

Ahead of debut album track 'Yellow' and as the rain began to fall, the singer paid a rare public tribute to his wife, Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

"I'm going to sing this for my beautiful wife Gwyneth, hopefully you can sing it for someone you love to," he said, sitting at his piano.

The song was one of a number of the band's older tracks that was refreshed for the gig, either with an acoustic touch and a more minimal rendition.

Coldplay unleashed a series of special effects during their performance, including huge balloons and lasers which shone out across the audience.

But it was the crowd's wristbands that lit up again during new songs 'Charlie Brown' and 'Paradise', creating a sea of multi-coloured lights, that were the clear fan favourites.

The band concluded their performance with 'Clocks', 'Fix You' and recent 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'.

Coldplay perform at the Emirates Stadium again on Monday (4th June) and play Capital's Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on 9th June.

Coldplay's setlist was:

'Mylo Xyloto'

'Hurts Like Heaven'

'In My Place'

'Major Minus'

'Lovers In Japan'

'The Scientist'

'Yellow'

'Violet Hill'

'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face'

'Princess of China'

'Up in Flames'

'Warning Sign'

'A Hopeful Transmission'

'Don't Let It Break Your Heart'

'Viva La Vida'

'Charlie Brown'

'Paradise'

'Us Against the World'

'Speed Of Sound'

'Clocks'

'Fix You'

'M.M.I.X.'

'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall'

It was an amazing setlist Jen, flowed really well :) Noticeably too short by a couple of songs, even by their usual standards, and no Politik (the one glaring omission) but still...brilliant.

I forgot to say I met the famous and lovely Tash.. !! Who for all your information IS NOT A CYBORG !! ROFL LOL.. just for information haha.. but she is very nice and we spent quite a bit of time together yesterday.. She did get a set list.. I am sure she will be happy to post it at some time when she is back in her own country! :) But she is going to Monday's gig too.. jealous.. so we will all have to be content with Non-Cyborg like photos for a day or so.

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

So glad Tash got a setlist

hi all, im going tomorrow night to see Coldplay as well, really excited after seeing last nights show too! Me and my sister are seated, we were thinking of getting there around 8.. did anyone have any experience collecting tickets from the ticket collection, e.g. was it busy etc? thanks!

You might want to check what time the collection place shuts, I thought I read somewhere it was 8pm (?)

I don't really want to leave the concert early tomorrow evening, but we are travelling on the tube, going south towards Gatwick Airport/ Horley, and I have heard the tubes could be a bit chaotic, with the Jubilee going on in London as well. I am really looking forward to the concert though. Is tomorrow night DVD filming night? If so then we might get a slightly different setlist, Chris if you read this please try and give a shout out to me, I believe I will be in Block 114, it would make my evening if you could play either Square One, White Shadows, Glass of Water, or Everythings Not Lost, it seriously would make my evening if you could play any of them. Tubes were a nightmare last night.. but We didn't really know the area and so got a bit lost coming out of the stadium.. but eventually got one. They run quite late and you will be able to get to most of the main lines, Jubilee, bakerloo Victoria etc from the Piccadilly line that runs to Arsenal station.. just expect queues.. it was MENTAL last night.. My son remarked that it was like scenes from the Walking Dead.. hundreds and thousands of us staggering along the streets, vivaing.. and singing... all dead tired after singing and jumping for the best part of an hour and a half..

Now I know why the set list is so short.. any longer and the audience would be dead!! LOL.. we gave our all last night.. my voice is totally gone.. :D My legs ache and my neck feels like someone has sat on it all night.. LOL (what we do for fun! LOL! ).

Last night.. kfjghdsfhf words fail me it was the best night of my life and that is NOT an over-exaggeration! I took some photos that are on my Facebook HERE (some of last December's show at the O2 as well!), uploaded a video of Fix You (unfortunately I did not catch the shoutout to Robin :/) and currently uploading Viva La Vida.

Gotta say I am impressed with the quality of iPhone 4s haha!

But yeah, incredible night, life-affirming.

They were amazing last night! The crowd were great despite the rain.

Here's my video of Charlie Brown if anyone's interested (sorry for the shakiness :P)

we are at the airport right now on our way back to holland, so review, pics and lots of movies later today and the upcomming days, but we had the best time ever!! my fkiend marianne and i went to the friday gig as well but had reserved seating then, near the C stage so lovely view on the whole stadium, it was nice to see it like that for a change, but the best ofcourse was the sarurday gig, when we were front row on X stage, awesome gig, with great vibe, for me felt better thet friday, much louder crowd.we really went mad,had such a great time, also during the day with the girls and guy we queued with all day.

tash it was great meeting you and james was perfect switch ;) we ended up near him on the X stage.

getting our way to the underground was true madness, but we managed to find an open barrier near the station and so were in time for our tube to the apartment. totally wasted, but it was all so worth it,had the best time ever!!

Amazing night :D, second time I have seen them after going to Crystal Palace in 2005. Great atmosphere despite the rain, but guess it wouldn't be a bank holiday weekend without it.

I thought last night was a good show but having been to the Wembley show in 09, iTunes Festival at the Round House in 11 & the O2 gig in December it was probably the worst Coldplay show I've seen. Take nothing away from the guys it was awesome but it was definately too bright for the wrist bands at the start.

As for the set-list I really enjoyed Warning Sign & that accoustic version of Speed of Sound was amazing!

The journey home was horrendous I walked for what seemed like an hour to Angel the Q for highbury and islington was so long I doubt everyone made the last train.

That was my first ever coldplay concert, and I'd like to say I thought it was amazing. When those wristbands came on during charlie brown, I almost fainted with excitement. Yeah, it rained a lot, but in some ways it made the strobe lights look cooler, and in fact it brought everyone together a bit more. Viva chant, as at all live gigs, was huge, and I loved that in fix you when Will came in, chris jumped and fireworks erupted, it was.... magnificent.
