They announced on their website that there will be some more tickets for the concert in Stockholm... I'm still so bummed I couldn't get tickets for November. :bigcry:

I hope hope hope something like this will happen for the concert I want to go to as well!!!!!

i think its safe to say that the boys have cracked the US market. no.3 on the charts, performing at the VMA's, getting incredible reviews in support of U2 and much more attention than ever before. and congrats to them for doing this without completely selling out or a massive change to their sound.

^I think you're right. There were sooo many people who didn't know them at all before they performed last night, but after, the people I talked to were really impressed with their set. I hope the album's success here and their touring with U2 bodes well for a headlining tour here soon!

So I'm guessing U2 gave them around 45mins. to play? I was hoping for slightly longer since they only have 1 opener.

^yeah, it was right around 45 minutes. Though, they came on about mmm... 7:15? Seemed like it was maybe a little delayed, and I've seen setlists that have had 10 songs instead of the 8 we got. (at least, I *think* I did somewhere). so, I don't know, maybe they went on a little late, so had a slightly shorter set. At any rate, it was fantastic. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Matt's voice live is just :wacky:

 

It would be awesome if they headlined ACL. I remember hearing about them playing in 2007, but that was before I got into them, plus I haven't hit ACL since Coldplay in 2005. :(

I just got totally hyped when I saw that on one site I could select tickets for that concert I want to go to... but when I pressed "confirm" it said there are no more tickets :bigcry:

I'm checking that site for days now in the hope there will be some more tickets and this was the first time it looked like they actually had tickets but seems the site was just not loading properly.

Like I said, I'm wondering if maybe their set wasn't cut short a bit, forcing them to drop a couple of songs. BUT, I was THRILLED to hear Time is Running Out! :dance:

They have to play many songs from the new album at first and they cannot really choose a lot oldies.

yeah, I definitely understand that. But they played Uprising, Unnatural Selection and Undisclosed Desires from the new album... so really, the bulk of their 8 song set was made up of songs from Absolution and Black Holes.

That had been said multiple times and they didnt come back next year.

I think it's pretty fair to say Muse will be returning for a full-blow tour in the US next year.

They'll pretty much be playing the whole world, mind you.
