I used to just think of Map as a pretty good song but nothing amazing, and then I saw it live and it blew my mind away. :dead: I really want to see Take A Bow now though. :wacky:

 

Same with Citizen, believe it or not I didn't like it too much until I saw it live. :anxious: But they (especially Matt) play it with so much emotion live, it's now one of my favorite songs. :heart:

 

The best part about the Newark show's CE was that it was just right in the middle of Nishe, so everyone fell over and died of a heart attack. :wacky:

Just curious, were the tickets a lot more expensive then, say, Muse by themselves were? Because I was thinking about going to a U2 gig at Giants Stadium, and tickets were freakin 270 dollars apiece! :wreck:

For comparison, Muse was $60 and from what I can tell, Coldplay was about $100. The only other musician I've seen with prices that high is Paul McCartney, and I would actually probably enjoy his concert a lot more. :shifty:

best tickets available cost like 400 dollars but if you buy the GA ticket and camp outside you can get a freaking great spot, it costed around 100 dollars which is not that much considering Muse will play 90 minutes :o

 

I paid around 70 dollars to see muse in 2008 but it was such a small venue :awesome:

Wait... So by my calculations that throws them to be £65 a piece over here... That's still pretty expensive for GA. :/

Well, you can go to a gig for about $10 if it's a barely known band. :P

Brandon Flowers' tickets were only $25, I'm so sad I missed out on the two in NJ (damn age restrictions!) :bigcry:

 

I think it's just with the big bands that the prices go insanely high. Luckily (or not), Muse aren't that well known and therefore their tickets were a bit more reasonable. :P

^ Brandon Flowers for only $25?! We had them at £27 which wasn't bad... But they sold out so quickly and resale values were from £60-£80 :o That's a shame you couldn't go though! :hug:

 

We can get unknown bands for about £10... Bands with 2/3 albums can be about £20-£30 (I saw Vampire Weekend for £21)... And then the bigger bands can be £40-£60. The most expensive I've seen recently was KoL at the O2 which was £67-- I couldn't believe that considering I'd seen them at Hyde Park for £45 only six months earlier.
