Sweet Christ, his kids are fat.

 

I give it 10 months before Kelly gets pregnant again, which is double what it took last time, so I'm giving them some leeway.

But they're so adorable. :heart:

 

He's going to need a whole bus soon to drive his children everywhere. :lol:

So I went to a band lesson yesterday, and my friend went as well (he's a drummer).

He said "Christina, if I play a Muse song's drum part can you guess which song it is?" So of course I said hells yeah, and he started playing Helsinki Jam and it was spot on. :wideeyed:

 

And today at Region auditions, I was talking to another clarinet player that was in line next to me and I was wearing my Muse shirt and she told me that she loves Muse and saw them live as well. :awesome:

Nice *Thumbs up*. My friends were talking about Muse last night, they don't know a ton of their stuff, but they want to hear more, and I'm more than willing to convert them :D.

 

Matt must be wanting to start competing with Chris! Good god, babies everywhere...Dom must not know what to do with himself some days. Congrats on Chris and Kelly's newest child (I kinda like her name. That's nice), and if Kate is indeed pregnant again, congrats to her and Matt.

Hello! This is my first time posting in this thread, as I have never really listened to Muse and I know there are a lot of fans who would eat me if I said anything bad about them :uhoh2:

Having seen that there are so many fans of both CP and Muse, I have finally decided to give them a go, and who knows maybe I will learn to like their music :) But what do I listen to first???

If you want to start off with an album, I'd say go for Absolution. It's arguably their best album, and is probably the best one to start off with.

 

As for individual songs, I guess you could listen to some of their singles. Go for Time Is Running Out, Butterflies & Hurricanes, Plug In Baby, Muscle Museum . . . and I can't really think of any others.

I'm more of an album person, so I'll probably give Absolution a shot at some point! :D

Definitely second the suggestion for Absolution. That is my favorite Muse album. Are you more into experimental, weird stuff or do you lean more towards mainstream stuff? Or do you like both? 'Cause that can help us suggest whether to recommend their pre or post Absolution work to you after that (I love it all, but some people have more of a preference for one sort than another, so...).

Well I don't really like Radiohead that much and they're pretty much the most experimental, weird band I can think of, so I guess more mainstream music for me. :laugh3:

LOL, okay, then after Absolution I'd suggest going towards listening to Black Holes & Revelations (which was the follow up to Absolution). Then maybe either The Resistance or Showbiz, sort of a toss up, and then leave Origin Of Symmetry for last. Origin was their most weird, experimental album. The Resistance has some experimentation, too, but it does also have some more mainstream stuff mixed in as well.

Without reading the whole thread, what's the news on a new Muse album? The Resistance is like, 2,5 years old now?
