Featured Replies

I was hoping people would be kind enough to post any bands or artist that I should get into that I may not of heard and I think Coldplay fans might have more diverse taste then most other fans, I guess. I'm not limited to anything except country music (seriously country music physically hurts me). If I were to have a top 5 right now it have to be:

1. Coldplay

2. Muse

3. Avenged Sevenfold

4. Mumford & Sons

5. Deadmau5/ Pink Floyd (Sry couldn't decide)

Now I'm just ramblin' so if people would be nice enough just to post random songs or artist names it would help alot. Thank you for yo time.

Florence and The Machine

The Killers

Snow Patrol

These are mostly the others ALT bands that I like.

You've probally heard of most of the bands I've been listening to, but right now I really like:

Fleet Foxes

Blur

The Verve

Oasis

The Civil Wars (maybe to country for you, but I would classify them as folk)

The Black Keys

The Rolling Stones (Especially exile on main street type stuff)

For some reason Dream Theater came to mind when I read your post. I don't know why. May be a sign though;)

And some less popular bands:

The War On Drugs

Sloan

Black Box Revelation

Gotye (you may know their song somebody that I used to know, I've been obsessed with it recentally)

The Brian Jonestown Massacre! Black Angles or The Black Lips. I think they're all bands from the committee to keep music evil. There psychedelic groups.

That's all That came to mind right now. I hope that helps!:)

Here you go , that's Selah Sue . Great artist i.m.o , very young and starting to get big in Europe , she was also at the Itunes festival.

Her Album is called ''Selah Sue - Selah Sue''

And if you like Deadmau5 because of his Progressive House you could check out:

-Adam K & Soha

-Moonbeam

-Mossy

-Mango

Broken Bells - Get the album, but hold off on the EP.

If you like Coldplay and Muse, you should check out White Lies. They're sort of a cross between both of them, but they're also very unique at the same time :D

Omg! I'm surprised nobody mentioned these:

-Genesis

-Phil Collins

-Peter Gabriel

-Dream Theater

-The Beatles

-Thenewno2

-Apparatjik

Hope you like 'em! :D

i tried fleet foxes once and it is just too folk to my taste.

try 90's radiohead, the bends specially, then go to oasis and maybe queen if you like muse.

i like strokes, also, but it goes a little beyond your specified likes, i guess.

Bruce Springsteen

R.E.M.

White Lies

Keane

The Verve

Arcade Fire

:)

the yellow of ur life

If I was to recommend two bands to you right now it would only be R.E.M. and The Smiths! This is my favourite song of all time. It's melody like much of Coldplay's songs just grab you.

And here's my favourite REM song - Driver 8. It's brilliant!

Two bands who have never let anyone down.

If you like Deadmau5, you should check out Gorillaz, specifically their 2 newest albums, Plastic Beach and The Fall, since they're both pretty electronic. If you're adverse to rap, just try The Fall

Snow Patrol

White Lies

Editors

The Killers

U2
