Coldplayfangirl
Somebody told me today the Mylo Xyloto is Coldplay's last tour and album. Is this true? Has anybody else heard about this? I sure hope it's not true!

ColdplayingfromKansas
Not a chance. Chris has been saying "This is our last album" since Parachutes :P
jc90
Yes, Mylo Xyloto is the last album...that they put out so far
Coeurli
It might be their last album with EMI (unless they re-signed blablabla idk the whole story), but not their last in their career :D
Samuel_94
It might be their last album with EMI (unless they re-signed blablabla idk the whole story), but not their last in their career :D I thought they were tied to EMI until after their 7th album
Prospector
^ They like to be owned by EMI, it actually is a very flexible label, comapring to others like Universal and Sony.
suzanafg
Has anybody else heard about this? As already mentioned, we've heard this plenty of times before. Chris does say 'this is our last [x]' from time to time, but he probably means that they've put some effort on such a thing (most of times, their latest album at the occasion), that they feel as if they had nothing left to do afterwards. When it's time for their last album and tour, then we'll have very little to do about it, but I don't think (neither do I hope) it'll be anytime soon. thetelephoneline
The band loves the job they have, they can't stop. It's the last album by EMI, but also the last Parlophone? I hope not because Parlophone is the label of such great names, coldplay is one of them. they aren't allowed to release a album without the Parlophone sign... :p
Lena Berryman
I've only heard that they want to make break a few years until the next album, because it's the time of Adele and Justin Bieber (haha :D). But MX won't be the last album! : )
Alien Radio
Somebody told me today the Mylo Xyloto is Coldplay's last tour and album. Is this true? Has anybody else heard about this? I sure hope it's not true! Chris has been saying that for a long time... But he's clearly just joking. It might be their last album with EMI records (As much as I know, they had a 5-records deal with them), but two years ago they signed a "massive new deal" with Universal. Here's the article: http://www.spinner.com/2010/08/18/coldplay-secure-massive-new-deal-with-universal/ So don't worry ;)
Prospector
^ Well that's publishing, they were alredy with Universal, EMI is a recording deal, I don't really know the difference but...
LadyBellaStrawberry
Remember in one interview Chris said he wants the finish the newer trilogy. First trilogy: Parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y, Second Trilogy: VLVODAAHF, Mylo Xyloto, ? We need an ending, so no worries ! :D I think I'd much rather one more than like 2038789247 more. I'd like them to challange everything they have into one amazing album rather then just a few good albums.
thetelephoneline
well, that means we get an other expirimental album?...
500daysofkatie
I might die if they don't make another. It was hard enough waiting three years. Forever would be torture.
YellowTeardrops13
I agree! I don't want them to end their career, unless they can't sing anymore and are are as old as the beach boys today! (No offense Beach Boys). :)

Zatchamp
Didn't Jonny just say during the Twitter live chat that "They have a good idea of when they want to make the next record..."?
CurtisJ
This definitely won't be their last. And I can honestly wait for new Coldplay music because I enjoy their discography so much. I just got back into X&Y like it was brand-new. And their B-Sides never get old.
