I rather think of sexual orientation as a bar. Upper left there is 100% straight and upper right 100% gay. In the middle bi-sexual and most people find themselves close to one end of the bar but this can change during their lives and also ... see how I placed being homosexual on the right? It's because it's not wrong but right! :D

 

Next to this there's also different ways you can love a person. You can love someone as family, you can feel sexually attracted to someone, there might be many ways to love someone. Adoration is one of them. You might be totally obsessed with someone without being sexually attracted to the person. Love his personality, his ideas, just the way he is, you know, while feeling that you are still 100% heterosexual.
